In the day we used studded bias-ply winter tires with truck-like tread. They worked pretty well.

pogirockwell I used the AutoMeter 7038 gauge inserts with New Vintage USA Woodward series 4 3/8” gauge kit (beige).

My fuel gauge in my 1952 Chevy Deluxe isn't working. Can you make a video on how to fix that or help me know where to go to fix it? I'm pretty inexperienced and need a tutorial. This is great! Thanks!

My 52 doesn’t have the factory gauges so I’m probably not much help, but let me see if I can find some info for you. Most of the time the problem with a fuel gauge is related to either a bad sending unit or a bad ground. I'd check those first.
