I have heard great things about that Uriah Heep, record, so cool you get to go see a show with Alex and Steve, I look forward to the videos, funny story we have a festival here in town called Country Jam I went in 1995, Tim was a headliner and Faith Hill was also on the bill, that is were they met, wow! St, Vincent, I don't even have that one! Thanks for the shout out!

Nice the new LEE AARON with covers. Cool you liked it after a few listens. I am a fan, i think i can like it. Her voice is still increible, and she still looks nice too. I have that new URIAH HEEP on Digipack too. Liked it a lot.

Lee Aaron! 🇨🇦👍 I saw her in Brockville summer /85 at River fest! She was awesome! Lead guitarist Frank Soda was wild. Tim McGraw…I need to try it. He’s got Faith Hill, so he’s winning. That Yardbirds thing looks fun Gary! ✌️🎸

That Uriah Heep album is fantastic! So awesome to see a band so late in their career make some of their best output. I've listened to the St. Vincent album online and I dig it, mostly from the production angle, but there's a lot of cool Talking Heads or Bowie influence.
@vikingbrace14 күн бұрын
Yeah now that I’ve heard it, I’m liking the St Vincent. I totally agree that it’s so cool for a band this late in their career still putting out good music like Uriah Heep. And Saxon! Thanks for watching!

Some great pick ups Gary. That Yardbirds sounds like a keeper for sure. Love the classic Heep, so I should check out some of their newer stuff. Ever find yourself hesitant to check out new stuff by a classic band because you don't want to be disappointed? That's my feeling on them (scared they won't be Very eavy or very umble😊) as well as Lee. Good stuff my friend Cheers bud! 🍻✌️🤘🎶🤘

I understand what you mean. Sometimes I like getting new music from old bands to see what they’re up to. I think you would like the last two UH albums. You live in Canada for God’s sake so you should be getting Lee Aaron!😁 Thanks Mark!

woohoo! Good pickup with that chaos in colour and thanks for the shoutout. I think Bernie has done and incredible job (and he's been with them for a while now!). I'm going to see if they have a special variant at the show this weekend but you're right.. that damn record has come down below $35 and that's too much. See you soon Gary!

I never thought about there being vinyl at the show. My guess it would be even more 🙄. I agree about Bernie! See you soon!

St Vincent - very nice! I didn't know about the new Lee Aaron record. Back in the day, she was a superstar here. I have heard that it is expensive for Canadian bands to tour in the USA because of visa fees. That may be why she doesn't head your way. Maybe ...
@vikingbrace10 күн бұрын
Yeah I’m sure it’s a money issue for her not touring in the US. She obviously wouldn’t be playing big venues or have to be part of a package deal. I figured you might approve of St Vincent 😁. Thanks Brian the Canadian

Love the song selection on the Lee Aaron disc. More bands should cover What Is And What Should Never Be. Are there any original members of Uriah Heep or are they all Avatars? Is that Tim McGraw album a live recording? Way to waste a good gatefold, St. Vincent. Cool Yardbirds! Nice pick ups!
@vikingbrace12 күн бұрын
The Tim McGraw is a studio album. Mick Box is still in UH. The Lee Aaron covers album really does have a nice selection of songs. Thanks Jeff!

You got the Lee Aaron album before I did. I was hoping for an album of originals, but she makes it sound like it should be a great album because she had some much fun doing it. I will get it. She would love to tour the U.S. but it's never been easy for her to get into the U.S. market. She does better in Europe. The latest Uriah Heep albums are pretty darn good, I think.
@vikingbrace14 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comments! Yeah I’m sure it’s a problem touring in the states. It would be nice if she just played in Michigan because I would make that drive. I agree, the last few UH albums have been pretty good!

@@vikingbrace I have a couple of compilations, and new comps that come out are mostly repeats of the same songs. B-sides and outtakes might offer some heavy gems though, especially where Jeff Backs cranks up the distortion.

Tim McGraw is one of the good guys. He's a country singer who respects what his music is built on. That's lacking today in these bro-country/country cutie-pie singers that go about. he ain't no Lefty Frizzell, mind you, but he's aight. "Tim McGraw" was, of course, Taylor Swift's first hit. Taylor Swift. She ain't no Beyonce, but she's aight.
