This song is probably one of the only songs other than KJY album where he speak what is on his mind mentally. You are right, in heart breaker album Apple represents his heart. I’ll definitely recommend not to skip any songs, even the B-sides that doesn’t have music video in his solo albums. All of them are amazing.

OMG. Isn't this song amazing? This is still one of my top faves from GD and it's hard to really say why because all of his songs are so damn good. This song is pure and it feels like it's the G without the Dragon. Does that even make sense? Ugh, BB is making me lose my mind!

Yes, this song completely changed me. As you can see I was really touched by it in so many ways, it was such a great experience, not just song. A Boy will always have a special place in my heart even though I do love his other songs. It just hits different.

I'm glad you like it And glad you watched the video with the lyrics. Many of the reactions I had seen made me feel so bad that I stopped watching. Because they think GD is too weird, both fashion and MV. Even though this song is 13 years old, they think it's just an arrogant song. And they don't care about the deep meaning of what GD really means. I really love this song. I listen most often Especially when I want to enjoy cleaning the house or other activities. I mostly show clips from live performances. The beat of this song was so fun that I almost forgot the lyrics. how profound it is and I will continue to follow you And waiting for you until the Kwon ji yong album, the lyrics of that album made me love him even more. your reaction make me mixed emotions Both heart warming and sad. There is so much thought, significance and heart in BB/GD videos. OMG. Sometimes it takes me a while to get over how amazing the videos are... especially from my boy GD.🐲👑

One thing is the lyrics are incorrect about what he's saying at the end of some of the lines. He isn't saying shine alive, he's saying "shine a light." He ended up naming his first solo concert series in December 2009 "Shine a Light" after that line.

I'm so happy you brought that up. It didn't sound right when I read it compared to what I heard. I was like, GD sings/speaks english well so why does it not sound right? I feel like our GD is all love and that was the message he wanted to send out then life happened and with light comes darkness. So we get amazing songs like these. Beauty can still come out of the darkness too. Another thing too, I'm not Korea, obviously, but, I do know that there is a lot that is lost in translation. So if it sounds like good translated, I can only imagine how much better it is if I could speak Korean.
