Im a pro Mua and dark skin and viseart matte are incredible for dark skin even when they are a light shade they translate true to colour and not ashy. Even with no eyeshadow primer at all . I love their formulas

Thank you for doing Viseart reviews! I feel like people sleep on Viseart sometimes, at least in the indie makeup space they do, but my favorite matte formula is hands down Viseart. I make a lot of byop, so I alternate basically between Sydney Grace and Viseart for the mattes because they're so effortless, then pop on a multichrome or 5😅 I'm also allergic to carmine, which makes it impossible to use most luxury brands, except for Viseart. Viseart is very sparing with carmine, especially the past couple of years, and I don't mind buying a Viseart palette even if I have to replace a couple of shades because I have dozens of Viseart palettes at home💖

I'm surprised by that because just about every pro-mua I know loves them. But I guess for just about any type of product, the stuff pros use and the stuff consumers buy tends not to line up

I wore that Vespertine palette yesterday and it is a stunner. Also, you can't screw that palette up. It's basically a mauve/plum palette, with some shimmers for play. I did a matte eye, then tapped the pewter shade right on top of the color on my lid. I love how you can use a sheer coat then build if you want. They blend themselves. Also, no primer and it looked fresh at 11 pm after a long day. I will be wearing this one a lot. Thanks for the video.💚

@@Dana-712FifthAve Good question. I was wondering that myself. But the answer is no. Cashmerie has some plums but the other tones are warmer. This Violette palette will give you mauves and muted plums. The shimmers aren't bright colors, so they layer nicely with everything. If I was forced to choose one of the two, I would pick the Vespertine. It is effortless. Creating a look takes no time and very little thought. The colors in the palette coordinate and blend seamlessly. I'll still use the original Cashmerie, I am skipping the new Cashmerie Charmeuse. It isn't as intuitive for me. Plus I have other palettes if I want a more editorial look.

@@DeborahCarlstonthanks, Deborah, this is helpful. I was initially drawn to the Charmeuse but it’s too similar to the original Cashmerie. As for Vespertine, unfortunately I can’t unsee it’s similarities to Liaison, both the original and reissued versions. Oh well, money saved I guess!

@@Dana-712FifthAve I actually found pics of that Liason palette before I replied because I don't have it. Liason has one purple shimmer but the basic mattes are brown, with a deep plum and a black. You can get a nice brighter purple look with it, more like the regular Violette Etendu. But Vespertine has all mauves/plums for mattes, and gives a softer, more muted look. There are no brights in this palette. Even the purple is softer. They really are very different. Only you know which look appeals to you most. Good luck choosing and Happy Holidays!

I love viseart. The fact that you don’t have to deal with glitters in their palettes just makes me so happy. I am waiting for them to restock the Grande pros. I contacted them and they said they are coming…when? Do not know. I also love that they are so compact and easy to store. Now that Morgan is talking about Esum…I want to try them.

Watching you apply Viseart shadows is a real pleasure. Yours was the review I was waiting for with these two palettes. believe it or not, despite owning about 80% of Viseart's recent stock, i resisted these two when I placed my order this week. I already have made the repeated choice not to get the original Cashmerie and these two new ones have the same issue for me: not truly cool enough, and too muted, for my skin and my tastes. I've been waiting for the original Violette Etendu to come back in stock, so I bought that one instead. But I definitely might add these if they're ever offered at the steeper holiday/event sale discounts. Thanks so much for the swatches, the comparisons, and the beautiful and classy eye looks.

Beautiful eye looks, Morgan! Initially I saw these palettes on Beautylish, so I was curious to see what they looked like swatched and applied. So glad you did this review! So far, I’ve been leaning towards the Vespertine palette because it leans a bit cooler. But I really like the Cashmerie palette as well. I’m a sucker for duochromes!

Viseart shadows don't usually swatch well but what you get on your eyes is usually what it looks like in pan. No surprises. If you like subtle,sophisticated shades then Viseart is a good purchase. The removable pans makes them very versatile & customizable. The Violetta palette is hands down my fave purple palette & the palette I reach for whenever I want a purple look.

I’m a huge Viseart fan and have almost all their palettes. I just bought Cashmerie Charmeuse with 30% off at their last sale, and it’s so gorgeous and wearable I’m in love 🥰 have been wearing it every day for the past 2 weeks. All the shades are amazing, no duds for me. To answer your question, Viseart often does duochromes. They have two palettes that are entirely duochromes. I love their duochrome shades because they’re so wearable - when you’re not 18 years old nor into flashy indie makeup. Most of the Étendu palettes have at least 1 duochrome.

This is a great sale but I'm one of those online shoppers that won't purchase from a site unless I get free shipping 😂 Viseart's minimum is $75 and I definitely don't need that many palettes, and I'm not willing to pay $10 shipping for one petit pro palette. They're so tiny. 🙈

They might be tiny, but they have 1 gram of shadow in each palette which is very comparable to bigger palettes in other brands. The Étendu palettes have 1.5grams of shadow, which is more than most other brands’ palettes. I love that they have tiny packaging unlike Pat McGrath… the Mothership palettes are beautiful but the packaging is much too big, it’s obnoxious.

Hard agree. Love their tiny, compact palettes and color stories but their shimmers are too subtle for me. Not pure metallic like SG, nor sparkly like ND, Huda, Oden’s Eye or Pat McGrath. Viseart offers satins at best. I understand there’s a market for that type of shimmer but it’s not for me sadly.

I have several Vizeart pallets, and I could not even tell you the names.. Why do they choose these names that nobody remembers … that’s not very good for the brand.
