So....guess what? Just been warned to review my comment just made as maybe being not appropriate. This was the opening remark I was asked to reconsider. 'Do you really think the authorities were acting in our best interests?' Then went on about the vilification of people advising (I won't name them this time) antivirals and vitamin D. Gotta say, it's getting scary if we can no longer question the motives of authority without censorship. My post didn't go up, so if this does can I get a thumbs up if it's visible. After years on steroids with severe eczema linked to my autoimmune disease I did some research into Ankylosing Spondylitis and separately eczema and found that both indicate a low level of Vitamin D. So self diagnosed I tried taking 8,000 IU of Vitamin D and within days teh eczema started to clear up. I have been taking 8,000 IU every day since and usually step up to 12,000 in the winter months when I am not gardening and out and about so much. Both my rheumatologist and my dermatologist remarked that they had heard that Vitamin D was good for auto immune and eczema but sadly neither had thought to mention it to me or anyone else suffering. I have been signed off by both now and feel bettere than I have for years. So tragic that his information is not widespread as I feel it will help so many. Thank you for helping to do that.

Likewise! Several years ago, I used to get many colds a year, and they'd often be serious and long-lasting ones. I was advised by an ENT Consultant to use a saline gel spray nasally and to use a pump to irrigate my nasal sinuses with a saline mix. At about the same time, I commenced a course of vitamin d through each winter. Haven't had a cold of any consequence since, just the odd sniffle. I now use all three on a daily basis - year round. Two years ago, I had a 'sniffle' and as I was due to attend a rather crowded event where many similarly-aged guests were going to attend (I'm 78), I took a Covid test and was positive. I didn't go to the event and the 'sniffle' cleared-up in two or three days. Have refused a booster jab for a couple of years now.... Keep up the excellent work, Dr John.

Medicine has known for a loooong time about the benefits of sunshine - and by default, vitamin D, although at the time they probably didn't realise the specificity. My mother nursed in the 50's, and would relate that the patients would all be sat in the morning sun where possible. Then in the early 80's I was fortunate enough to serve in the Aussie outback and, lo and behold, I'd see them all sitting in the sun along the verandah of their small hospitals. Why do you think sociopath western governments acting in lock step imprisoned EVERYBODY inside, and fined those out in the sun ... even if alone ... we need severe sanction for the anti science enforced upon the people 🤦🧟♂️🤬🤬

When she returned, I commented on her face, her eyes in particular and I couldn't help but say how great her face looked...she was a bit puzzled and asked what I meant and as I looked at her face, her eyes were relaxed. I went up one part, stopped to breathe, went up another part, stopped to breathe, went up another part, stopped to breathe and then walked about 7 meters and arrived at the office door. After several tests, the doctor discovered that victim D was super low. After undergoing treatment, my life returned to normal. After a few pills. So, from experience, vitamin D is essential for the respiratory part.
