What do you think about its image quality ? i'm looking for a 28mm for my M11-P, but i'm hesitating between the Voigtlander 28mm Color Skopar II and the Voigtlander 28mm Ultron F2 Type II. Have you tested both ? thank you for your answer :)

Have not tried both but the image quality of this lens is good. The Ultron may be better and it’s faster. But have to try it still

Very nice review for a lens i didnt know existed. Im on the itch to get into leica m mount system and the price are eye watering. How does this lens compare to the leica 28 2.8 or 28 f2 ? Also more important how does the muscle memory works on this lens ? Is it easy to zone focus without looking the lens ? Is the distance between 0,5m 0,7 and 1,5m enough that one can use all of them without looking ?

It’s a great lens. Similar to the Elmarit but the elmarit is superior. The operation of the elmarit is easier. This lens is lighter though. Great lens for day time. Aperture ring not my favorite thing but you get used to it. Easy to focus with

Thank you for your answer :) i am planing to use the lens for street photography so im not going to constantly changing the aperture but ease on zone focus is very important.

can you use a black pro mist filter with the lens cap on?

You will have to remove the lens cap. And attach the pro mist. The lens cap then will attach to the filter. Make sure it has threading. I use tiffens or Polar Pro filters

I bought it. I have nothing to say about it. It is a high-quality modern lens designed for an audience who is very picky and critical. No way I would buy a Leitz lens at four times the price second hand only for taking pictures.

It’s a really good lens. Light with great image quality and close focus at 0.5 m. Amazing what VL is doing optically and how well this lenses are priced

The silver lens looks good on the black M11-P. But, boy, you have a lot of gear now. What is the watch? And why would you need to shoot at f/22. I thought that anything above f/11 was a no-no. (?)

Hey man. Kind of like you 😬 feeding the GAS. It goes to f22 because the design allows it. F16 in most lenses is a no go.
