Undead Citadel released this week and IMO, is a lot of fun. I’ve honestly played more Undead Citadel than I have Batman. Not saying it’s superior, very different games, just been in more of an Undead Citadel mood I guess.

Facehuggers and zenomorph is nothing for one its going for the colonial marine style gameplay which ive never liked even in the movies as the whole point of alien is they are huntin you and they are way way more deadly than you like it could be good but those snipits of gameplay is not enough to prove anything but you can make the defining part of a alien game the alien and facehuggers nothing more and the weapons dont look all that great like it looks to me like they are cherry picking

I feel like most of the VR releases these days are like this, and I play VR exclusively on PC. VR is just not being utilized as much as it could be. It does not help you have an overabundance of people who spend maybe an hour or two at most in VR per week, and are always amazed at whatever VR slop is fed to them. Those same people will glaze and defend VR devs that make mid products just because making games for VR is hard. Making games is and always has been difficult, it does not excuse making a bad game. People will say "Then you do it, go make a better game" and that is entirely besides the point. I don't need to be a car manufacturer to know what a poorly-designed car feels like as a driver, or be a chef to know what rotten food tastes like. Toxic positivity is very counterproductive to getting games made with being held to high standards, and I feel like many people in the VR community need to start waking up to that reality.
