Probably the best fishing channel on YT!!! Doesn't matter your age or skill level, you have a gift of reaching everyone. When you bring out baits that you fished with your dad, I always go back in time, I used to fish those also. I love how your channel brings back memories, and teaches this 'ol fart new tricks. Man, seeing the older lures brings me back to my best childhood memories fishing with my dad (who has passed now). You and Retro Bassin’ are the only fishing channels I watch to be honest. I’ve got most of these older lures in my tackle box still. They still catch fish!

I still use a lot of the old lures I fished as a kid I’m 55 and I still use the Zara Spooks and Devils Horse and pop R the old ones made of wood not plastic.

For those that don’t like loop knots try the canoe man loop. Learned it from salt water guys tying heavy leaders, but I use it on all sizes of mono and fluorocarbon for freshwater.

Great tip using the toad as a swim jig and buzzbait trailer. MonsterBass has quality lures in their box. Lots of brands you may never heard of but the lures are solid. ARK deserves a redemption arc in Debo's channel 😅 I always watch the full video sometimes twice like this one since there were a bunch of tackle tips.

I love unboxings, this comparing new vs old lures was pretty cool!! The pop r has been killing it for me lately the silver on bottom and blue on top, it is scraped up a bit and missing a treble in the back cause a pike decided to hook me back and I had to push the hook through my hand and cut the Barb off and pull it out of me. It's been through a lot and I'm still killing it on that bad boy lol

I think I have one of those Blitz frogs-picked it up on clearance a couple years back. It got bit well enough, but I just don’t think there was the right balance of hook and body. The legs are still attached on mine FWIW.
