Good day Shane, thanks to watching the video, the thicker rubber tends to absorb most of the noise, I am in SA and most our road are not the best conditions, at one stiny where I pushed her beyond the legal limit I Genuinely had no quams with any noise from road or tyres and the cabin.

@@wezilebonani Thanks for your prompt reply. That is good news, as i like a quiet and refined ride over some our course chipped country roads here in Australia. It looks like SA & Australia are one of the few countries that use VW's combination of the older 1.4 engine with an eight speed auto transmission. Regards, Shane

I thought this is a tiptronic and not dsg . It’s suppose to be 8 speed zf gearbox and not dsg.
