Hi Damaris! I bought that first wicker planter you showed, at the end of the season last year, so it was half price. I didn't put the legs on it and I use it as a waste basket in my bathroom. The plastic liner in it is perfect for that purpose! Also, I've used ceramic planters as utensil crocks in my kitchen. They work great!

I love the planters. Mainstays is actually a good brand. My sister has that "plancha" and she loves it. I also love Pioneer woman kitchen towels. So cute. TFS

Hey Damaris, I have heard other people call that darker shiny rainbow (specifically the kind that's on those handles) as "oil slick," as opposed to the other kind of lighter shiny rainbow iridescent look, like you find on mother of pearl
