You have stock flares but majority of people now at top tier are running ARHs which flares do nothing against.

​@@DawgIVLife At least you can fly low and away from it for a while to make sure it doesn't always hit you. With all aspect IR missiles, you're not escaping unless you're way too close or way too far away already. Grinding through Tier 6 of the Swedish Air tree was the most painful experience I had so far in my 11 years of playing the game. All jets are subsonic flareless bricks for the most part, that always get uptiered to 10.0 or 10.3. I somehow managed to grind the AJ37 in a single day using the J32B and J29F, but it was nothing short of the worst thing ever. If I didn't have a premium account to make the grinding go at least less slowly, I'd probably have dropped the tree entirely and bought the 35XS.

Top tier just isn't fun. Even having fully spaded meta vehicles is kinda boring after a match or two. I think we need some new gameplay here. Idk if it's more PVE modes or RB EC but something needs to change. AB at top tier is dead from abusive squads. RB is super quick matches and Sim is good but only caters to a very niche playerbase since there's lots of good competition out there. I feel like the lack of competitors is why Gaijin does very little with Air AB and Air RB.

They should make it so you get constant down tier depending on your purchased modifications or just make modifications cost waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less than they do now.

And to make the matter worse, you have to unlock the AIM-9L when you already have 2 stock AIM-9m

They should have an RB mode like sim EC. Like the same as sim but with RB settings. The maps are big enough for fun bvr, there are objectives that you can play, plenty of shit to bomb, and enough space to be sneaky for those stock grinding. I don't think the grind was that bad, got the 120s in half day.

As a person who spaded the harrier with no talisman, its fking awful HERES WHY - Subsonic jet - stock armament is 2x AIM-9L YES L - 50/50 if you get a full down tier or full up tier - 9M and 120A are tier 4 modifications - USA teams - engine and oil overheat if you use WEP

To be honest rather then beat my head against a wall in RB I took my F-15C into SIM to spade it. Did pretty well ratting around in the mountains on Afghanistan slinging 9Ms. It probably wont work as well for Redfor aircraft though.

I got the 120 for the f16c in a half day. It was not bad, this is truly a skill issue. Also did it in RB even though I play sim more than often. The 120s not easy to defeat but it can be, you gotta play it right. Shit remember my last game for the 120s I got 3 kills and it ended up as a 1v1. Took the fight to the other guy who had 120s in a f16. Dodged ALL his 120s he spammed at me, forced him to over shoot and crash into a building. I had to save that video lmao He thought the 120s would save him from actually getting some bit of skill.

fir red aircraft you just die... that's the truth of it, you can't compete, your planes that do have fox 3s can't compete to the US fox3s rwrs and radars, you have no defense, the blues have f15s can just wipe out the enemies that maybe would have killed you, leaving you free to grind

From 11.3 I transitioned to SB in the air... the RB is just boring team deathmatch shitfest and it's just not fun at all especially if you try ty play something like a Tornado xd

Stock grinding is pain in general. Forget just jets. Grind Thunder is slow and painful. Kinda un-rewarding imo. You're so burnt out by the time you finally unlock something that you don't care to play any longer

Stock grinding f15 C right now and my KD ratio is like 1 to 4 Literally all of my KD’s are kind of bad because all I do is chill and custom battles once I get them not so stock and so I don’t ever get time to actually experience them fully upgraded unless I’m grinding for a new update update

stock spading the f4f 15c and the av8b+ i did a mix of stratagies depending on the map most of it was base bombing and hitting ground targets but once i got 120s i stoped base bombing and went for air to air kills and ground kills

It’s the economy. Gaijin principal of the game is player suffering. Us as a community need to come together and make this change. It’s simply not right that we have to legitimately suffer to enjoy the game. I can’t even imagine trying to do this with out premium. The RP gain is horrendous in the game. It could be 50-100% better. Also the game just needs a new change of pace for game modes. Shit so flavorless. It’s crazy. We demand a gameplay change.
