Eden is at the age where change rapidly occurs and her physical person can fluctuate daily - monthly. It may be more pertinent to give Grandma Kitty & Eden a budget and allow them to shop together, regardless of the location. Particularly in women's clothing the cut, size and shape varies enormously between brands and retailers.

Hi Tom, did you notice you were using the spring/summer clothing inventory and not fall/winter? Concerned the kids clothes won’t be warm enough to go through the colder months. Kids will need boots, warm coats, leggings, long sleeves, etc. 😊

Eden may be getting to the age where it is uncomfortable to have her size known. Girls get weird about that. She didn’t seem too excited to shop on camera. I know my daughter went through that with the sizing. She didn’t want her brother or dad to know and was embarrassed if anyone saw her underwear even new in package!

I was going to say the same thing. I wish the conversation about the jeans had been edited out. She is at a tough age for a girl. Emotionally for girls (and maybe boys but I am not a boy so I don’t know) I think the early to mid teen years are rough. You are doing a great job Dad!

Just a suggestion but ordering online is the way I go these days because hardly anything is ever in stock in the stores. I don’t order from Walmart but have had really good luck with target, kohls, and carters! Plus I always luck out with some good deals/coupons.

So sweet to see Dad enjoying buying for the girls. Tom you are right, have Grandma Kitty help Eden. Some of the pants that you grabbed actualy look too big for Eden. There is a lot of give in the legging type jean and even the skinny jeans. I am a womens size 8 and many of the Walmart jeans I need to purchase a size 6. Best for Eden to take 2 different sizes in the dressing room and try on at the store. Many blessings to you and your beautiful family ❤

Have you tried a TJ Maxx, marshal’s, even good will sometimes? I find that Walmart is getting more expensive but the quality remains the same and sometimes you can find quality well made stuff that comes from good brands(not that it matters but sometimes for quality it does) at those stores. Secondhand is huge now and can really have great stuff for a fraction a lot of times with tags on it. Eden is getting older and I can see that she wants to express herself and have choices. Being trendy is stupid it literally changes every two seconds and can be expensive but being happy in the moment and being able to express yourself will last with her forever. So glad you try to accommodate your littles especially now with the never ending price rises.

Watching on my phone most of the time these days, but still a fan. It is such a blessing watching the children grow up. Back to school was always a great occasion in our family. We were very poor but our aunt took the three girl grand daughters (10 grandboys so she didn't take them) lol...shopping each year for two new outfits and new shoes. We lived on a farm and had work boots and good shoes. We could only wear good shoes to school and church. Only three pair of jeans, one pair of shorts, two dresses, one purse. I went bare foot most of my days, still do. Can walk on nails. But I loved Converse! I also loved Penny loafers. Yes, with a penny in the slots. When I got older mom gave me dimes for the pay phone. When I turned 13, I got a slip and undergarments. I got some handkerchiefs. Momma expected a slip with a dress. I got hosiery and dress gloves at 16. We are so rich now a days. The boys had overalls, coveralls, two jeans, a flannel shirt, plain t-shirts, and a white dress shirt for church, school shoes. Work boots. They had a couple of handkerchiefs for church. They got wallets when they got a job. I asked for barrettes and hair things for birthday and Christmas. Ribbon was such a luxurious gift. I was thinking about Eden all grown up now. I hate to tell you but you need a woman's advice when you're shopping for children's clothes you do a good job but not the best job you should have bought stuff that was on sale cuz kids are going back to school so everything is marked down in Walmart you should have stopped and bought the shoes today you're going to pay more money next week when you come back but good luck so appreciate all your videos y'all do have a blessed day.

For the younger girls I always try to shoot for a size bigger. They are always growing and that way they’ll get maximum use out of it. Also Miss Eden at her age certainly needs some female help (no attack on you dad) she’s just at that age that we get a little uncomfortable with our bodies and ladies clothes run so different style to style so finding things that compliment her body and make her comfortable is key! Good job I mean no slight just my suggestions 💛

I love that Walmart now carries Justice clothes. My daughter wore that brand all the time until she got too big for them 😔 Also Eden will more than likely need a Junior size L in tops. I would say a 9 or 11 in Junior jeans too. A size 17 is really big on her.

Tom, I understand the whole 'color" thing. I think it's so nice that you allow the kids to be individuals if they don't have the right color to match the day. I have Identical Twins all grown young men now...but I never dressed them alike...giving them the opportunity to be their "Own" person. 🙂 They are 35 now...still look exactly the same but the way they dress is totally different. Eden might be better going to Kohls if you have a Kohls. They have a super cute Junior section or maybe she would find some cute XS in womens that she would like. They have good sales also. Walmart clothes never fit me for some reason. Kohls has always had things that fit me much better. Plus if you shop their clearance in between seasons and stuff you can really find amazing deals. I'm sure Grandma will know about Kohls stuff if she's ever shopped there.

The pants say "regular" because they are normal length. They also make pants in 'short' and "long." The "slim" is based on the waist size.

For the womens jeans what looked like fraction is the size in womens and then it gave you waist measurement. ex. 5/27 is womens size 5 and the waist is 27 inches

Regular in the jeans probably is referring to the length! You can have short, regular and tall in pants! And then slim means slimmer fit!

Left behind hangers is usually an indicator of theft. I would say to take clothes up in the hangers and if you don't want to take them then when putting clothes on the belt just take off and hand to cashier.

Tom can you not shop online like at JCPenney or kohl’s? Walmart clothes aren’t the greatest in quality and not much to choose from.For younger kids Walmart clothes was fine when my boys were growing but once they hit teen years there wasn’t a big select of clothes for my teen boys.JCPenney and kohl’s always have good sales too

Andrea was genius to devise the clothing system she did. You avoided so much confusion, time and money wasting, mess and such.it’s just clothes. They always have had what they have needed and wanted. It’s nice to change as they do but if only more families focused their priorities on other things.

I think your Walmart has a better selection than ours here. I used to cross border shopping to a couple Walmarts in upstate NY and that's what I found. They had sturdy flip flops too. I bought a pair on clearance for like $5 about 8 years ago and they're still going. It's funny that you would buy ripped jeans after mentioning previously that you were having to replace the boys ripped jeans. That is the trend though and kids are paying big money to get tore up jeans. I don't know about over there but where I live, as teens we would bleach and/or slice up our jeans. Now, they can just buy them like that. My son just bought himself some more over the weekend.
