Just wanted to point something out to you Tom. I clearly recall your first haul after Andrea passed. It was a struggle for you. Not knowing sizes and not having any idea of how it worked because she’d have a plan. Here you are, out with your oldest daughter, smiling, getting excited about finding sizes and colors. Even though it was exhausting you conquered it. It would have been so easy to just shop, not paying attention to the colors and getting out of there. Heck even doing it all online but you crushed it! I am so proud of how far you have come. You pushed through some really hard times to get here. At the time you’d say how daunting it was (and it might still be) but just LOOK! Look at what you’ve accomplished!

I think Eden would love a spa day with grandma for hair to be trimmed and shaped.

And she can get some styles that are more in her tween age group. 11 is past many of the girls clothing styles. Things will last longer if they are more age neutral, noticed you doing that with jeans (smart)

@@donnacamm8155 my girl is 10 and 5'6". She doesn't fit into girls clothes anymore. Still in primary school yr6. It's a right nightmare getting some of her school uniform, as she fits ladies clothing and ladies don't generally wear school uniforms, meant for primary school. Looking forward to when she goes to high school next year, as they have a specialist shop for their uniform and expect bigger taller children

Tom, you should consider getting Eden women's size clothing. Girls clothing is kind of pre-development and curves. When my daughter started hitting 14/16 I began buying her women's smalls. When she moved up to 18/20 we bought women's mediums or women's 8/10. Juniors are odd sizes in the women's and for my daughter she has to go up to a large or 11/13 to wear them because they can run slim. As for the hold up length test, that gets harder when we get curvy because you lose length when the garment is on. With my 14 year old I have her try most pants on because she's at that age where they may or may not fit her shape. BTW, I bought those same pajamas for my daughter's pajama day at school. The online reviews said they run small so I bought her a large and they fit great.

I would suggest maybe Eden can have a grandma kitty shopping day for clothes. Girls sizes get very weird after they start getting older.😊

Sketcher shoes are Great investment,highly recommend! Just a thought, maybe get rid of the color wheel seems more stressful than it needs to be. plus, kids are growing up and at the age of expressioning themselves. Boys: -3 jeans -3 sweats -1pkg of socks&undies -1 belt -2 polos -5 regular shirts -1 pair tennis shoes, 1rainboots&snow boots and a pair of sandals and ir flip flops. Same for the girls but 2 dresses and 2/3 pjs. A coat,mittens,ect. Thomas and Asher are old enough to buy their own and that will help you out as well but teaches them about money management, becoming an adult and ect. I understand change can be hard but change can be beneficial as well. Also kids from Eden on up can do their own laundry which also can help you out but teach them responsibility, therefore no dots on clothes needed. Therefore saves you time and money. Excited to see the next clothing haul.

Great haul, and Tom you do more in 1day than most of us do in 6 months, and you do it the best you can which is all that it should be, because it never needs to be perfect, just completed is the goal and you do accomplish that for your family. Just a hint, we lived inthe Chicago area when our children were young. We always did get the coats some what large so they could were sweaters or layers of warm clothes underneath for the bitter cold weather. They are less likely to outgrow them at the end of the season.

I just loved that lighter color on Eden, but too big. The darker one looks great too & won't get dirty as quick, even 47 yr old me as a Mom of boys gets her coats dirty fast!

Just had to say, most times that is all we received at Christmas time was the cloths growing up. Toys were very min. And to this day I try to give cloths instead of other things. You are doing a great job Tom. My brother was in your shoes until his passing. So I can understand how busy and demanding you can feel at times. But remember you need a break too. "HAPPY SHOPPING!"
