Hold your horses on that one. I know it looks like a deal, but if you want mostly THESE models, they are all -50% on eBay. Or just buy them off eBay after someone who bought Stormbringer puts them for sale. Full Subscription of 20 deliveres (80 issues) is around 750 GBP and it will take almost 2 years to get it all.

I think these could help give me the confidence to start playing with all of my models kinda like Lee talked about in the video. I really think if GW would start publishing some solo exercises in White Dwarf or at the very minimum add some for examples in the damn game core rules book it would really take some of the stigma away! Heck I remember even in the old 2nd Ed AD&D books it would give you a little side story that could be used to do a solo quickie to get the hang of things.

Issue 15 th we get winged-named-stormcast-lady - Paid : 30 - PRice to buy (ebay) : 20-27 - savng: -3 (asuming one of bad prices) From issue 15 then, to 33 we then pay for another model Orruk's boss o beast - again, cn't be bought solo, only in Command Squad (with crosbowmn), for 68... Minust 29 for crossbows - it is 39 for Boss and Banner - Paid : 36 - Price : 39 (+Banner-guy) - Saving : 3 From issue 33 to 51 we pay for Gunhauler - Paid : 36 - Price:: 30 - Saving : -6 From 51 to 69, we pay for Dankhold Hero troll - Paid : 36 - Price : 40 - Saving: 4 Total saving : ... -2 If that's what we are getting, pretty bad deal, and keep in mind ,that is with : - Assuming NOT the best price on Yndrasta on ebay (or any other local site if yo ucan get here there) - Assuming price of Orruk mounted Boss as 39, although it is estimated cost of kit that comes with another model (banner bearer), so it might be even worse OVerall and for each issue, that premum won't look that great, unless they really up their offer - and I assume they will, sicne GW might be greedy, but not stupid about their deals

On Yndrastas sprie there's the standard bearer and 3 Annihilators so you'll get those too at least. Big boss on Hound gas Bolt boyz kn its' sprue too. No idea about the other 2 though but possibly could be the contents of old start collecting! boxes.

Okay, having a Dominion box already here which I bought for cheap is a little bit unfortunate but because they added way more models from other factions (compared to Imperium) makes me subscribe it the second it comes to Germany. The rest of Mollog's Mob is by Ironskull's Boyz. There's 2 sets of that Beastgrave terrain. I believe Gobbapalooza is in there as well. The unique miniature looks to be a special Praetor. Also the other Harrowdeep warband is in there, Da Kunin' Krew; I don't think you mentioned them but I could be wrong. I don't think I'll be getting this one if it comes to Canada, I already have the Underworlds stuff and the Dominion Box, so that's already a good chunk of it. But it's a nice collection. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the mixed forces though. I'm not thrilled about it in Imperium, and it's all mixed in this. Rather just get 2 large collections.

It's not actually 8.99 per model, they'll split them up by sprues and bases. I expect the Stormdrake to be 3+ magazines and so on. I think with an assumption of 15~ issues of paints and accessories you can easily fill out the 80 slots by counting sprues and assuming they'll lump several large bases together in issues i.e. Sloggoth and Snatcha Boss or Giant in one issue. I'd expect the Drakes to be the last issues if not for the few SCE named heroes which may fill that conclusive role a bit better so it definitely won't be a short while before you can get them haha. Mortal Realms put the really big models at the very end. I'm really excited for it and particularly the spread of factions; I just hope I can get some of those issues separately as well to flesh out those armies a bit. Those always sell out so quickly though 😭😭😭 it's a shame subscribers didn't have a little priority to purchase more in advance or something, maybe just one or two more.

I made a quick spreadsheet, this is £704.21 for the premium subscription not including extras for binders and the artbooks/novels. The cancellation policy looks good though. That said, I am sceptical about subscribing when I total all of that up; I have Imperium subscription, and a complete Mortal Realms; I own Dominion; do I really need this? It's fear of missing out that makes me want it, but I think this time around I will budget that £700 towards things that I need.

It's better to spend 700 on things you will definotely use, most of these units likely wouldn't see competitive play and it's a LOT of paint projects. This collection seems like stock clearance to me but I hope I'm wrong.

@@Questioningbasics £704 is assuming 80 issues, which will include the 4 premium bonus boxes. I did not add on extras like the Binder deliveries and art books. It becomes better value if you sell on kits you don't need, but then a lot of people do that and some do it professionally (to make a profit). Also, all of the issues are likely available from Forbidden Planet for £8.99 and as their contents is generally known a few weeks in advance you can order copies of what you need. Honestly, I subscribed, just to get the first few issues guaranteed, but yeah, add up the total and it's £700... that is a lot of GW stuff or a 3D printer setup. What bugs me also, is that things like Mortal Realms and Imperium are out of date by the time they're finished; there's erratas, FAQs or new rules somewhere that you need. The big pile of binders are lovely to flick through, like my nephew will enjoy it, but essentially they're non functional for the game. TLDR you know if the subscription is good value without doubt, if you're in any doubt then it's probably not the best solution; if in doubt, subscribe early, cancel when you want and pick up issues you need via Forbidden Planet.

Having Dominion already makes it less appealing but I like how they’ve put the main larger models as part of the premium so you could go for the basic and use the extra hobgrots etc to bulk out existing armies. I think I’ll be doing some fun mini giveaways with the models I already have.

I hate most of the AoS sculpts.. except those Hobgoblin ones that are for sale at a steep discount on ebay because they are in every AoS starter box since Dominion. I think I'll easy pass and continue printing my kickass Empire army on my 6k printer.. 3d printer still goes brrrr. I love that 3d printing life, GW is starting to look like a Dinosaur right before the extinction level meteor struck

Hachette Partworks? That's a hard pass - expect missed issues, a totally dismissive customer service (if you can even get through) and a company who takes and keeps money for issues that you never get. DO NOT GET INTO AOS LIKE THIS. Buy Dominion and go from there.
