New Water Scheme Part 2... Komatsu D65EX ripping in water pipe. It was struggling.

Part 2 of the water scheme project. Pre ripping then pulling in water pipe with a Komatsu D65EX bulldozer.

Good infrastructure works on the farm that is good skills you got Bulldozers are good that they have more stability than diggers.

I mentioned Peter Yealand's biography a while back. There's another story in the book about him being on a dozer out on his property at Pelorous Sound which ran away from him heading towards the water. I'm thinking that if he'd had a ripper or three on that dozer, it would have made an effective brake.

Hey Alistair the parts of the trench with heavy rock which might damage the pipe could have been cleaned up with digger and then enclosed with soil or sand. Just an after thought. Thanks for the video 👍

What size pipe did you run? 32mm ?

40mm main line then 32 for the laterals to the troughs.
