@Pirate Garage Nobody here in Brazil understands the Honda CR-V 4wd traction system. I have already researched on many sites, there is not even a mention of how the rear-wheel drive pump works, for example. His videos were the only ones that really show how it works. But I still have doubts about where that hose that comes over the rear differential is connected. Is it a hydraulic or pneumatic pump? Or is this hose connected to the automatic gearbox? I’m in Australia and have a k24 swapped ek hatch , I used the accord euro (I think you call it a tsx) 6 speed and installed a LSD , I want to make it awd . Can I take all the internals from the 6 speed (gearset and lsd) and simply install into a crv case ? Thanks

Ok red I'm trying to understand what is d reason or why do you have to change the all wheel differential in d case as you just didn't here? I have a 2004 crv manual 4x4 transmission and sourcing parts for a kswap into a 88crx with a k24a2. You show what you did buy why?

Maybe I missed it or its different for Hondas but shouldn't you have used lock tight or some other thread locker on the ring gear bolts? And possibly some others?

Question for you guys, I plan to put a 2009 Civic SI 6 Speed gear set in my 2004 all wheel drive CRV transmission. I seen someone mentioned in the comments section about using a press to get the gears back on the counter shaft? I was wondering are the gears pressed on and off because mine's slipped off... The countershaft gears are pressed on not the mainshaft, bit if you have to ask this you should get a professional to work on your transmission

N would like to put it my 2010 honda accord wish is manual, the problem is the civic which is 6 speed has a lock out solenoid n the accord is 5 speed n doesn't come with a lock out solenoid so the computer does not recognize it having 6 speed trans so i am asking what to do to solve this problem

The solinoid is required to drive it but you can wire it to your brake switch

You can, and the good thing about the element is the 3/4/5 gear is the same as the tsx so just ad a 6th but I didn't go in depth on what is different between the 5 and 6 speed trannys

I know they have LSD for honda accord but the final drive is 4.3 so they say the 2012 civic si LSD and it carry the 4.7 final drive. Can that fit in the accord transmission
