I know this New Weapons Hands video is just a joke for April Fools' Day because Naraka's devs always release an April Fool's joke video (i.e the lightsaber video they made). But real talk, the unarmed (no melee weapon equipped when you spawn in matches) melee fighting style that is already in the game, has massive potential to become an actual effective fighting style that the devs could expand upon and make it into a melee weapon. Like, imagine if we got a melee weapon that uses real-life martial art style moves from Muay Thai or Taekwondo and enhances the damage of the unarmed moveset that is already currently in the game. For example, I feel like brass knuckles, Bayonetta's gun boots, (but instead of guns on the boots, it's hidden heel blades) or Link's Gauntlets from Hyrule Warriors (without the wrecking ball) would be perfect examples of weapons that could turn the most underrated & barely used fighting option in the game, into a legitimate new melee weapon.

I actually really like the parry mechanic for the hands where you can take their weapon. I think that would be a very interesting addition to the game. It can be really frustrating to be attacked right out of spawn before you can get your hands on a weapon, so being able to punish blues and gain a weapon would be great! Although, I can see the pros using this tech to take someone's gold weapons throughout the game... So maybe not....
