Hi, I actually just bought this exact lawnmower yesterday, and I have been trying to wrap my head around the 7 gears on it. Is it necessary? And if so, when is the appropriate time to change gears? 🤔 Like, can you go full speed on 1st gear, or must you go up a gear with speed... And, on top that, when you come to a turn, must you drop gear every time you do a 180? 😅 Or am i over thinking this? 😅

Haha! I think you are over thinking it Tasha. There's no real need for all those gears, though I do drop it in to 7 when not cutting & just travelling between cutting areas. I tend to do all my edges in 1st gear, & then everything else in 2-4 depending on conditions. I would always turn slowly. I wouldn't suggest pulling away in high gears- the wheelie would never end!

@@eatstreats408 😂 I can only imagine the trenches those wheels would dig. Okay, this great. I'll keep all this in mind. I've a big cut to do tomorrow (the lawnmowers first), so this helps just in time 👌Thanks

@@eatstreats408 Hi, just thought id let you know that me overthinking it was an understament completely. Very easy and enjoyable to use. Thanks. 😁

I have the 46 and it's shocking. I am a commercial user and decided to give it a go but for the price I could have bought several better quality mowers.

5 months on things that annoy me, right side wheels don’t align so you get a larger wheel mark on that side, that double wheel mark is then harder to follow when mower in the opposite direction.

I hadn't even noticed that. Curse you Dandandan293! I know what my preoccupation tomorrow will now be!!
