The foam tape is important. It goes around teh outside edges to prevent the covers from rubbing on the stock alloys and scratching them. It will also keep them from rattling/vibrating, some call it squeaking over time, as dirt builds up between the cover and wheel.

After watching your vids on the models 3. Test drove all 3 trims. My friend ended up getting the base LR rwd. The sound system blew me away. It's soo good on these new model 3

Very nice wheel covers. They really pop out with a dark car. Now the only thing missing is quad tailpipes…he he.

Yes they’re plastic. They feel very similar to the factory wheel covers

Not sure, they seem to have a bit of an aerodynamic design to them so I don’t see it being noticeable

@@specter290 I feel like it would vary so much. sometimes i drive like a maniac and other times i'm more calm. besides, it measures it in kw/h and i'm not too sure on how to read that 😂

The adhesive strips are suppose to go around the inside of each hubcap to make sure it doesn't rub or rattle against your wheel.

It's a definite improvement! I saw a Plaid in person and couldn't believe it had the same stock wheels as your car! It was terrible on such an expensive and fast model!!

Similar but not the same. I had the longer range covers on mine as I wanted to get the full 405 miles out of it. It also made the car look so plebian and normal that it really took some by surprise. LOL!

Many of the people who buy the authentic ones have kids in college and have huge student loans and unpaid home mortgages, but still spend thousands of dollars on handbags. I often recommend kislux to them, they have good quality brand bags.
