Can't hate on tesla once you own one for daily driving + have your own garage to charge from.

Production on this video is top notch. Hoping for more vids on your M3. Convincing myself to get one myself but I have a 70 mile daily commute and can only level 1 charge right now

Thanks! Thinking of doing one highlighting its performance this winter.

I have basic model RWD M3 and commute about 60 miles (100km) per day. I live in Finland so it's winter here (about 0 to -15°c daily). Level 1 charging with 12A (about 2kw/hr) has been enough even if I load only at nights (for cheaper energy) as the consumption is below 20kwh/100km even in very cold environment! Hope this helps you with your decision! 😊

Good little video. I've recently purchased a model 3 performance and absolutely love it. I think the regenerative breaking makes me drive a lot smoother and probably more sedately... weird saying that and owning a Performance. I did install the fast charger and I love the convenience of it... in fact I just love the car. I live in Australia so I don't care about the Elon factor... but I'm sure some here do.

How much has 6 months of ownership cost you in charging, insurance, and basic repairs in general?
@BrianKissig20 күн бұрын
Insurance varies by state and company, but I was able to get about $800 for 6 months but prices vary alot. Charging is cheap roughly 40-50 per month. Basic repairs, i havent needed anything done other than a flat tire, but that would have been the case with any car.
@koven149719 күн бұрын
@ I got insurance for mine at $1,100 every 6, which puts me back to what I had for my Buick. I’ll look at lowering it after a year or so, but your monthly cost for charging is pretty average from what I hear, unless someone drives a ton. I won’t really save money until the financing is done, so here’s to a halfway decent return after the fact.

I switched to Progressive when I moved to PA. it's the only company that quoted me less than 1000

@@BrianKissig That’s wild. They wanted some $300 a month for my Model 3.

I have this same exact car except I cheaped out and went for Stealth Gray. Overall very happy with it, except I think the turn buttons are a step backwards just like you. I definitely enjoy driving it more than my old car, except in LA I'm constant afraid of uninsured criminals hitting it, which has already happened to me.

I considered the stealth grey actually. I think its really nice on this model.

Yes, no problem him putting that in....he is the KING of freedom of speech right, if that IS true then Brian has every right and should speak his mind....regardless if one agrees with him or not....great video Brian !!! As one who is VERY torn between his brilliance and off the rails statements at times......

@@BrianKissigI appreciate your comments about Elon, so I don’t feel so alone in my thought. I got my Tesla last week and I almost lost sleep over knowing I am contributing to him, but- you’re right, we don’t ever check CEO’s of companies we buy from. I love my Tesla and it’s only been a few days.

Completely agree, he lost me with his personal attack on Musk. Ruined the video with his childish political condemnation. I’m actually considering my first Tesla because of my respect for Musk, funny how that works ;)
@celtics2008champs119 күн бұрын
To be clear the REASON the stalk was removed is because Tesla is moving toward SELF DRIVING, therefore you will NEVER need a turn signal, the vehicle will do it.
@rogerh269412 күн бұрын
Nah the turn buttons are quite intuitive when your hand is already in that area so it's pretty seamless after a few tries. It's more energy efficient on your hands
