How’s it handling and tire ware? Wheels have an obvious negative camber to avoid rubbing I can even notice it in video. Just wondering what effect this has on ride?
@TheCastLife7 ай бұрын
The truck is noticeably stiffer, which can be good and bad. Cornering is better, brake dive is better but running over pot holes is terrible. Tires have held up great although I haven’t put much miles on them. Alignment specs are not the greatest considering the truck is lifted on stock control arms but overall I’m happy.

Hey, I hope ypu are enjoying your lift and wheels! It looks cool. How does it ride with AAL and by keeping the factory load spring in? I see most people taking them out but I'm thinking it will give you the true 2" lift and better towing capacity?

Thank you! I am enjoying the suspension. And you're right that's the reason why I kept the overload spring in for the extra .5" lift and extra payload. Right now my suspension has settled a little bit and it's close to level but the rear is slightly higher.

That's cool! I want UCAs too but I don't have the budget for them right now. The Bilsteins are nice they feel softer in the front but I think the rears are a bit stiffer due to the 1.5" AAL and stock overload spring. Go look at Tacoma forums, youtubers are Liars! Just look at the pic of his front tires in relation to his cab mount, of course it will run at full steering wheel lock and suspension fully compressed, in addition bilstein does not make a true 3” lift after settling, at the highest clip, it’s around 2.5” on Tacoma . Only way to fit 33”s (depending on wheel offset) with Billy’s is to do a 1” top plate spacer, fender cutting, upper control arms, cab mount chop(cut and weld) pinch weld hammer, believe me I’ve been thru it. Go to Tacoma world, and do some reading from honest people. Best of lucky 🍀 Tacoma’s are the best !
