I understand that the people who were going to buy this land were going to totally wreck it, so yay it won't be completely ruined. But still, even a little bit wrecked makes me sad. Just the noise pollution alone ... feel bad for the wildlife living nearby.

Anakeesta did a lot to restore the mountain it was on after the 2016 fires. I am sure they are keeping land & animals in mind as I have heard the owners speak highly or preserving & protecting wildlife & habitat.

900 acres of trails and nature? Good, really good... 900 acres of more Mountain Coasters, Chair Lifts and Rental Cabin Clusters? Bad, really really bad. I hope Anakeesta keeps the area more natural, unfortunately that’s probably not the future plan.

It saddens me to see this coming into our community. We built our home here for the peace, serenity and natural beauty of the area. Now with those who only care about their bottom line, comes the traffic, noise pollution and the displacement of wildlife. I guess it’s true in this case as in many others, it’s all about the dollar!

Thanks for the video Ryan,looks like a lot of fun to come. I am not the most outdoorsy person...but this does spark some interest. I will look forward to the next video. Would there be a way to elaborate on the different trails for each experience level and if possible a map rendering?

That looks like that would be a very fun adventure. The roads sure look very rough and steep. I hope they do training on how to drive those in such tough terrain.

Went out there on the 5th and met Brice one of the co-owners. Really cool guy, walked us around and showed us the jump line behind the lodge and the dual race line. Got to see a sneek peak at the map of all the trails and he said that the website should be updated with alot more in the next week or two. We go to PF a few times a year, this is gonna be a really cool addition to the area. Cant wait to check them out and go shred some trails.

Looks like it's gonna be a cool place to go to. I do have a question: On the paths where there are steep drop offs where someone could go over the edge and plummet down the side of the steep mountain sides, are there going to be any guardrails added to protect the guests from any accidents?
@AdventureIsOutThere6 ай бұрын
I am sure they are going to put measures in place to keep people from doing things to hurt themselves. There is still a bit more construction to occur. I hope to go back & do a more detailed tour when it is closer to completion!

So excited for this park to open! QQQ: Are there any waterfalls on the property? Perhaps along the future hiking trails. Will there be water refill stations or at least a station at the main building for water bottle/water bladder filling? Are the future hiking trails going to be pet friendly? Will the have a snack bar for lunch options for people who want to spend the better part of the day? Will they have picnic table area so families can save funds and bring in their own food? I do hope this stays a natural attraction vs more mountain coasters like some of the other commenters. We’ve been going to the pigeon forge area a dozen or more years and have never ridden a coster or played putt putt.

The people that were looking at this property before this were going to build condos and tons of cabins on it, so I am stoked that it was bought by a company with the intent to leave most of it natural, and get some people that otherwise wouldn't enjoy the outdoors.
@derekk69066 ай бұрын
Sounds wonderful, except when developers and investors say the three word, As of Now......."As of Now" we don't have future development plans like buildings, structures or Cabins.
