Oh, man, back in the day those apartments were known as total party rooms. Not a lot of rest and relaxation was going on in there! Glad to see they're bringing something new and fresh to the boardwalk again.

I remember those apartments. I always remember as a kid going past and seeing all the people partying off the balcony. Glad to see a new hotel going in. Been empty for too long

Thankfully something is finally going to be done. It’s been abandoned for years and years and I’ve always thought it’s such a great location. If they can make that happen that would be an awesome idea. Love the private swimming pools also

Yeah a major disappointment. Why wouldnt anyone who can afford a more sophisticated town ever go here? You have OC, Avalon, sea isle, cape may etc. they have strict town rules. No hoodlum nonsense especially on boardwalk.

Nice Job Joe! I’m buying the block right next to this! I have some big plans for it. In honor of my mother Kay Renz who recently passed away “Kay’s Oasis” it’s going to be a destination like no other in Wildwood.

Parking is going to be a huge issue with this building. Wildwood needs at least two parking garages built to accomodate all the new island construction. Maybe valet parking to a secure offsite garage for this hotel?

The only thing the boardwalk needed was strict enforcement and a better crowd. Pookie and her homies found wildwood and ruined that place a long time ago. Let’s just hope pookie doesnt discover sea isle or OC.

That red house sandwiched near the empty lot is a throwback...and it looks in good shape. As to the Wild, the plans look great and a huge improvement over the broken down structure there. Now let's see if it actually happens. History may repeat itself.

Hoping this is the start of some much needed upgrades and variety for Wildwood. It always amazed me that property values are among the lowest on the Jeremy shore in Wildwood for some reason. Looking for a boost.

We used to stay on Glenwood Avenue back in the early 60's. Bowling alley still had peop!e resetting the pins. On the corner of Glenwood & boardwalk there was a Mack's pizza and one or two stores they made the best fresh squeezed orange juice. Nates hot dogs was maybe a halve block North of Macks. Hates had a weekday lunch special think you got 4 best hot dogs in Wildwood for only a buck. Mack's pizza was only $0.25 a slice.

In looking at the rendition of the Motel I noticed the pool on the third floor looks to impede on the second floor ceiling height,otherwise looking good.

Hey Joey, great looking place but the name? That could have been thought about a little more 🤔 skyline hotel 🏨 would be good skyview or skyliner, or wild wood Sands hotel, just to name a few. Buy that's what they want them so be it.. hope the cost to stay and going to be a killing. Like some other motels there. I love how people think this project will make any difference whatsoever for Wildwood. Wildwood went downhill because of the people who started going there and their hood behavior. Especially on boardwalk…..anyone who is even remotely sophisticated goes to OC, Avalon/stone harbor, Sea isle and cape may. Pave Wildwood in gold and you still wouldn’t get sophisticated people to go.

I disagree. I am 56y have been staying at either the Crusader or the Adventurer since the early 1980s and I save a lot during the year to enjoy my 7 full days in the Wildwoods. I curtail at home during the year drinking, eating out and other frivious spending so I can enjoy my many visits during my week to Little Italy, Duffers, Marvis, Sams, Sals, Crusader cafe(whatever the name is) and the other favs plus all the rides on the boardwalk. Priorities and frugality are all what one needs to save for vacations.
