*NEW* Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Vertec Centurion Tactical review

I have this pistol and it is absolutely amazing. I am an 11yr Marine Vet who, prior to discovering this model, wrote off the M9/92 due to having smaller hands. I chose this over a Sig 229 Legion. Never one regret. I do agree the 20 rd mag that came with the pistol is impossible to load more than 15 rds. I wrote Wilson combat and they sent me another 17 rd mag for my troubles. Kudos to the customer service department. I went with the Mecgar 20 rd mag and love them. Loads soooo easy. Good job on a fabulous review of a phenomenal pistol!

You have outstanding taste in sidearms! I ran a 1911 Colt Commander for 20 years and love the platform. When I left my group in 1999 I was given a Beretta 92 Elite which I have recently added several WC parts to, including their grips. That certainly made a difference as it feels very close to the 1911 now. Thanks to the both of you for creating great reviews and content!

I know this video is 2 years old but I just bought this same pistol. I seen it at the local dealers high quality case. Right when I picked it up I knew it wasn't the same thing I had in the Military. Just hope I can Run it as as the young knowledgeable man on the video. Great job guys !

Beretta guns are the most beautiful of all guns. Probably not the best but is one of the best looking guns of all. I own a glock and a sig sauer but beretta is something else.

I’ve owned a 92G Vertec for about 12 years or so. It hasn’t been through WC but it does have many of the updates offered at WC. It is fundamentally the most reliable and accurate handgun I own. That’s a huge admission for a 1911 shooter.Great video as always.

This is the top dog of the Beretta 92 series and variants. I've shoot the WC M9A1 with all the upgrades but the decocker. I bought it used and it didn't have it. At some point the G feature will be added, The feel and trigger are top notch. You two really demonstrate the positives of this WC very well. Thank you for sharing !

I have the brigadier Vertec, and own the original brigadier Wilson and the centurion non Vertec model and yes the fit and finish on the vertecs is worth the extra money, the lower priced ones are done all at beretta and only inspected at wilson these are disassembled tuned and modified at wilson refinished and than reassembled

Love it. I bought that model earlier this year when it first became available. One of the blackest guns I've ever owned. Maybe just me but I felt like even the guide rod was done in a blacker finish than Wilson usually does. I put 400 rounds through the gun and just didn't like the vertec grip as well as my other Berettas. So I sold it for about $100 less than I paid for it new. I feel like that money was well worth the short time I owned it and the 2 trips to the range. No regrets. Thanks for all the great videos and Merry Christmas!

Looks awesome, I own 3 Berettas, a 92, M9A1 and an M9A3, I love the ergos on the A3 but I love taking them out. I would love to see how this one matches up against a CZ Shadow, even though it is an inch shorter, but this Beretta is definitely on my radar. Thanks as always for sharing.

Excellent video and beautiful firearm! I opted for a 92G-SD to satisfy my Beretta 92-series itch. Added the OEM D-hammer spring, Elite II skeletonized hammer, and a set of VZ Palmswell Recon G10 grips. I left the polymer guide rod and lanyard loop alone and the trigger and levers feel like metal to me, but not entirely sure. It weighs about 33 ounces, unloaded. I went this route in order to save a few ounces, the capability to swap the magazine release to the right-side(custom enlarged examples cannot be swapped and I'm a southpaw shooter here), and the retention of the ambi decocker levers(some custom configurations lose the lever on the right-side). It has the beefy Brigadier slide, front/rear dovetailed night sights, crowned barrel, beveled magwell, checkering to grip, and railed dust cover.

Had to watch this one again! I believe this is the model the gun store has and if it is there tomorrow and since it is a slightly reduced more commander sized, I am going to see what I can do to get this....especially with 3 mags. I believe the current model year has more gray WC G-10 grips and still looks great. When I called just before closing I had remembered the price...$1398 which seems like a great deal to me. jprebb Great question, and I was surprised by my choice after shooting both. The Centurion was a 10 and the Vertec Brig was a 9 to me. Both are Lifetime Keepers to me and worth the extra money. Beretta Sr.

BERETTA9mmUSA I did get a chance to check both of them out. The Brigadier felt more ballance in my hand maybe because I’m more use to full size 1911’s ? In person this gun looks and feels amazing! The cherry brown Vertec grips 🤤 I also like the Centurion, but it felt less balanced compared to the Brig..I’m for sure getting the Brigadier!...But I’m torn between the Elite LTT or the Centurion for my second Beretta, if I get the Centurion I feel it’s just the same gun but smaller🤔 What was the small differences that made you pick the Centurion over the Brigster? and what do you think about the Elite LTT? People on line seem to rave over the LTT.

What more does this pistol offer u compared to a 92x centurion with a hammer spring swap? Not sure the extra ~500 bucks is worth it for most ppl. Its sure not gonna make one a better shooter...

Paul H it’s a complete trigger job, not just a spring swap. You also have other features that come with the Wilson Beretta pistols that make it a higher quality firearm. Beretta’s QC on their pistols (fit and finish) has not been good for a couple years. In our opinion, if you are going to buy a new Beretta 92 variant it should only be a Wilson Combat variant. Wilson from our experience does the best job on Beretta pistols. We have also heard that Wilson has an amazing customer service department, so if you ever have any issues they will take care of you. - YB
