Hot damn. This build is getting serious. I can only imagine how awesome the stamped bed and tube work is going to look. I hacked off the rear portion of the Bog Hog body, laid the back side of cab on a sheet of lexan and traced/cut to that cut out portion to replace the back. Support with other lexan inside the cab as I knew I was gonna paint outside. Sand outside to clean up the seam. Think I will try it again on the creep. THIS is going to be a fun series to watch and follow.

I run a chopped battery tray in the rear for electronics, very light and it adds some rigidity to the chassis.

Soots is really good at old and rusty and that body looks like something from the 40s. So why not go with a Roadkill style look? Make it look real simple. Just a bed with a single hoop behind the cab and two straight down tubes to the back corners. Like some farm boys bodged it together with old cast iron pipe back in the 70s so they could use it for pulling stumps and having fun then abandoned for in the woods for 40 years when it died. Just so you could pull it out, throw on some brand new flashy wheels and 45" tires and work for three days to get it running again.

I believe I asked you when this video first posted..if you have a moment, could you possibly explain how to program my servo winch on the 3rd channel (Futaba pv3 radio) so it has 3 positions. I'm new to this radio. I dont see in the manual how to do it, if its even possible with this radio. All I can program it to do is, reel in or out. Can't get the 3rd position so it stops reeling. Thank you for your time.

Set the steps to 100 on the trim switch. That will give you a 3 position.

These become the base to weld the cage to, so they give the advantages of the link mounting positions, easy mounting and you can keep a reasonable C-channel chassis thru the rest of the truck.
