@@ITALIANWRAPPER to be honest with you I have currently 960h and started playing the game in November 2023 when the numbers were still relatively high (around 25k I think) and since then they started dropping down really fast, I even had my own company for 4 months with constantly 95-100 members so I had fun while it lasted but now the company collapsed as everybody started leaving the game in the recent month/two so did I.

I get the console release announcement and marketing is front & center as the new revenue stream and have no issues with that. But it would be nice if there were a separate announcement and video posted catered to existing vet pc players that have waited a long time, while continuing to support the game, for content updates oriented towards actual creation of fun endgame loops, revamping reward system grinds, overhauling the war system to make more accessible to a broader audience, actual combat balance passes more than 1/year (slight quarterly tweaks to a few of the weapons do not count), patch's that don't introduce game breaking bugs for combat, a deeper dive into the FFA pvp zone, 10-player raid, what's to come with the GS 725 increase. Something. It would have been really nice to see an announcement at least on the forums that shared, hey pc players here's the date for our upcoming planned video showcasing the new content we have coming to the game in the next six months, here's the date for our deeper dive. Throw us a bone here. It shouldn't be that hard to give us something to look forward to. The dev team told us to look forward to this announcement as existing pc players. Why? What for? Help us, help you in supporting your game. Throw us a bone. The game hasn't even seen meaningful balance passes for over six months. At the very least I hope your dev team has plans with a good portion of the expected console revenue to actually invest in a QA bug prevention and squashing department. Added bonus, if you create a separate video aimed at the existing pc community, we wouldn't be here commenting negatively in this video aimed at new console customers. Help us, help you.

We are only in few thousands at this point and people at AGS have paid attention in some earlier school or college they've went in that you can't really get back the customers you already lost or at least it costs way more to reel them back than lure new suckers in. Better to throw us under the bus or out of the window than to have us still in the game with stories from the past to spread to the new players in october. I guess that is why they announced this in june that we aren't around in october.

@@ITALIANWRAPPER honestly the game was still the best around especially the combat was the one that worked for me. For example; Lost Ark, total trash to me. Diablo 4, despite being huge Diablo fan since the first Diablo this fourth iteration was total trash. Pretty much every other game I played was utter trash. I didn't mind the player numbers going down as far as I got to do expeditions and OPR when I wanted.

Speed glitch, atk glich, miney glitch, teleportation glich, there are so many glitch in the game that have no sense for any serious Mmorpg Player to play it. What the point of grinding in a game were people is always exploiting or using hacks? None. All games have cheats and exploit butnusualy people fix it and roll back, ags dindt do nothing about it. They said they have banned people who have exploit the game. Thats a lie. You know why i know? Becauss we had entire guilds doing those glitches. And just few of them got caught. Majority was still in-gamw with at least 3-4 acc with gold cap. You know what the game is never gonna go to 0? Becausw farmes like people from 3th world country can farm gold and sell it to dumb people with money. Thats all. Keep enjoying nw with your casual players, hackers, cheaters and farmers. Seriously, there will never be enough players for any PVP MMORPG to last. I've been around online gaming since mid 1990s and seen quite many games that have tried to take path and PVP people keep on being delusional about the prospects of full pvp MMORPG. Besides, you never do MMORPG based on marginal groups like hardcore pvp such as war loggers in New World. It is a path to ruin. So no one cares about war loggers, not the devs and not the rest of the players. 3000 person server (or 2000 person server) and basically at best on one of those there were 50-100 hardcore war loggers which makes it marginal and not critical for games survival. Still, the devs team did show from start the signs of making wrong conclusions and totally ignoring the player base which is equally bad for the survival of the game. So no, I'm gonna quit the game as well because as you said they have let down the player base for far too many times. They will let down the console player base the exact same way so there is that. The devs will not listen to those players either because they don't learn from their mistakes.

I was the most active player in my server for like 4-5 months since launch without even skipping a day. You know like og days when u like an mmorpg and no one could make you touch grass lmfao. Being part of an active guild who own territorys and fight to protect your homeland was the best thing about this game. They ruin it for everybody with their slow updates and bug/exploits. I wish ags really care about us as players but never happen. The most breaking heart part was the fact that on those times you could just mass-report GM ( Guild Masters ) and officers even members to get them banned for 24h and lose the wars. We lose our territory so many times because of this glitch. But dont worry we was the best guild on the server so took as basicaly few hours to do the quest, cap the territory and aak for war to reclaim our territory and since we was the best pvp guild on the server no one could stop us. Those was the best time i ever had on nw. I have keep playing nw like after 7 months pause on brimstone update with some old friends but we dindt last long. The game was too much into pve and the server were so many times merged that no server in your own language was anymore avalable. Basicsly people who dont know english got excluded from every content. If you dont know english u cant understand what the sc is saying during war and that sucks. I can speak english so was not a prpblem for me. But for majority of people yes. I find my place in pve content after brimstone because pvp was basicsly dead. Non dead in sense that u have not content, but in sense that og players were all in other games, and the current playerbase was too trash. As a healer coming back after 7 months. Being still high GS. All geared. Because i craft like 5-10 million gold worth of items during launch i got the best sets a healer could get. Was basicaly a meme. 1 healer could basicaly keep 10 people in that phase of the game. 10 people because they are new players could do shit about me. Repost with rapier, run all the time, and when i got bored i could even stay on my sacred ground and do 1v5 and they could not do shit. I heal myself more then the damage they could do. And eveb if i was low hp i could just run away few sec or stun them to gain some time to full myself. They nerfed so many times the healer making the game even harder for us to the point healers were one shottable. Meh i could stay here hours explain you about all the good and vad memories but trust me there is gonna be more about bad memories. Most of the time we was as a guild especialy pvp so dissapointed about AGS because they could not fix simple bugs in little time. They took like 3-6 months fron launch to balance the pvp. But was already too late they all quit. The new fanbase since then was just trash. People who did guilds to conquer all the server to make the game even shitter for evrrybody. We di not that as a guild. We never did that. At some point we got the thing that we was the most ppwerfull guild so we split ourself in 3 guild from diff territory and start recluiting players to keep our servers alive so we could have fun doing some balanced pvp and not just overkill evrybody. We had moral. We had priciples. We had honor. Current fanbase you cant forget about that. They are just focus about farming gold and sell gold. They dont care anymore about the game or having fan. Nw from a mmorpg has becone more and more a walking/trade simulator. Look if nw will ever return to 60-150k active players for OVER 3-4 CONSECUTIVR MONTHS I WILL COME BACK. BUT it will never happen. How do i know it? Becausw you can check the stramcharts. Ags was unable with any type of patch to grind people and keep it. The only thing ags can do is grinding trash or brainless casual players. But good players, or gamers in general are playing better games trust me. I have play so many mmorpg i have never seen such a negativity around it. NEVER. Could happen that sonr patch in some mmorpg sucks. But not like new world were each patch is braking the game or make people quit in masa. This is unnacceptable. AGS is not a gaming studios company. Is a marketing/profittable company with their prior achivment to profit money from players. As studios they should close or change mindset because they cant manage to do nothing. Is like this with NW. And was like this with Lost Ark. Every game where ags puts their hands on get conpletly destroy by they nosense choices. A little bit of chat about their trash game. Thats it. Even when the xpac was out most of the players even me just check it for few days and drop it again. Too much lag. And we already know this. I already knew that if the server laggs when there is 2k players.. just think how much is gonna lagg with players+mounts. Disappointment in the announcement for most i believe is due to hoping AGS had an ACTUAL BIG secret that we didn't see coming. We waited 6 months to be told something we already suspected to then wait 5 more months. I remember the " wish we could tell you everything but we can't" and i get it now. If you would have told me in January that you are going to focus your attention to a new player base while we continue to play a buggy game that continues to have game breaking exploits until October 15 i would have stopped playing then but the copium was real. One thing i can count on is that AGS will not deliver a polished game and will attempt to fix bugs/create content in the most uninspired manner possible

For anyone wondering what the announcement is. It's that the Dev's have single handedly destroyed their own player base again and again. Keep an eye on the player count. Only time will tell. They continuously ignore player feedback. If it was any other Dev team, I'd be shocked or even disappointment . However, these Dev's have a history of misleading their player base. I'm not surprised by today's announcement in the slightest. I feel sorry for anyone still playing New World because they have set their expectations so low. Copium is one hell of drug.

First off Someone needs to clip him saying "what is end game" and make a meme. Secondly end game needs a reason to do it, and I still feel like it wont be there. I need end game content that is very difficult and has low drop chance of BIS (which is not obtainable anywhere else including from crafting) I don't want to be running around with it within a couple of days I want it to be a long term goal but I feel that "Long term" and New world Devs don't mix. Essentially the developers of this game don't give you a reason to stay and grind out end game content, drops are to easy and you can just craft BIS gear.

Console players are not living under rocks, they know how you handled the PC playerbase. I predict a quick decline in players on console until you get yet another upset playerbase. Expanding to console will only slow down new updates, which already is extremely slow. There has literally been months of no content. And for pvp players, there has been 1 content update in 3 years since opr. My expectations for the big announcement that you had to keep secret was low, but this is just insane. The reason you couldn't disclose anything is basically because you would lose the rest of the playerbase if you told them the big announcement was a console release only.

this is a joke , the developers instead of improving and adding new content to the game(new region what is already known from alpha, swimming) they are creating a new game (old one with co-op ) for ps5 and xbox . you can see how the creators respect players who play all the time, while they fix bugs from almost 1.5 years ago and add nothing , sorry best to give dlc that costs , NEW WORLD creators and amazon start listening to players and streamers who endure in this swamp and say what needs to be improved , add and not , on vlogs you explain that everything works , if everything worked then would not play pick 6k players , in NW from the beginning ENDgame was weak and you instead of adding something you explain yourself like amoebas what works .
