Skill trees: Center of Attention is useless as you already reach empower cap without it. Also you don't want Spell Focus, cause you want that Abyss passive to be active more often and if you squeeze heavy attacks on FS in your combo you reduce that empower time on Abyss. Armor: You don't need runeglasses, you don't need void harnessing. You reach empower cap with just Elemental Band, Honing Stone and GA passives. On FS you'll be close to empower cap as well. It's much better to get Frigid Dawn chest piece. Boots from Sandwurm with the same illegal combo Enchanted Ward + Elemental Aversion. On top of that Empowered on amulet is buggy and extends Elemental Band empower up to 20s (got it on my video showcasing my build). Invigorated Punishment is also overrated perk that on average deals like 4% more dmg and that's pre armor mitigation value. You'll be much better putting Infected for increasing Plagued Crits uptime or Leeching. Also you want to put Thorny Reflection on one of your armor pieces to proc Nature damage on Elemental Band. Weapons: You're trolling yourself by putting void damage on Fire Staff as it breaks the Elemental Band interaction. You don't want to mix Elements, because in order to proc Elemental Band you have to deal damage with element that hasn't been used in last 10s. While swapping from FS to GA you can't maintain stacks. It only works when you swap from GA to FS in your scenario. You want as many different elements as you can to stack Elemental Band as fast as possible. Put runeglass that deals arcane dot with gem that scales with int, but not Fire or Void - so Ice or Lighning and opposite attunement. If you want to play swap your Abyss for Deep Freeze some day you don't want to put Frost Attunement on your weapon - more flexible would be Arboreal Attunement.

He literally said in the video, that the build is for WHEN elemental band is fixed. So everything you just said, makes no sense. Also Invig is strong in current meta because current meta is literally clump and dump and if you have LESS rend of you, you survive then you clump and dump back.

@@mis8866 if that's a build for when they fix it (which is maybe never or ~6 months) it only makes my point about runeglass and attunement in weapon not relevant, but everything else stands. it's literally fundamentally bad build and the biggest mistake is putting void damage gem in fire staff that completely denies you the possibility of maintaining stacks on Elemental Band when you swap from FS to The Abyss. It's hard to admit when you're wrong I get it, but don't try to convince people pigs can fly

When running FS/Abyss I like to drop 'Spell Focus' for 'Combat Speed on the FS skill tree.

@@AndvNW I pay pretty close attention to what weapons get a kill on me, and I just don't see alac popping up that much. I suppose it's very situationally dependent. I don't catch heals often, so I favor having increased mobility. And anything to keep your mana low while holding that axe is a plus.

yes, plus the main cc you'll be worried about are staggers which freedom doesn't help
