Good guide. As a healer I can say that healed can use target heals through the door during last boss fight if he dies. Guys, tell your people to fight close to doors if you die. You will be on your 60% effectiveness but it's still better than staying idle and wait for wipe

For the 3rd phase of last boss, you have 10 seconds to kill both bosses at the same time.

We did this last night without watching any content first to see how we went... Wiped about a dozen times, learning further mechanics each wipe. Finally killed one and he got revived 😭. We still got it in the end, but it was definitely one of the best boss fights I've been a part of.

yeah New World have stepped it up in terms of more mechanics for the boss fights since isabella and neishatun in tempest then nereid in barnacles :D alot more fun :)

@@LiamHYT Ran it with some strangers today. We wiped about 9 times on General Crassus. The tank didn't pull the adds (Trolls) away from him and around the room and other DPS kept killing the Trolls - I explained your advice in party chat. Took them 3 wipes to read it and I can't speak Polish. The last two bosses were a FUN 7 wipes. I typed MUST DIE AT SAME TIME four times before the penny dropped. On the successful attempt we still ended up killing both bosses 3 times each!!! The relief and pleasure at getting it done was head melting! Then we realised we had skipped a bit of the raid content and were missing 2 seals... all went back to get them. Done. Your guide and my small input to the group using it means we're not still there now. Many, many thanks. p.s. Your guide still seemed relevant. Just trying to think what may have been different...

Hope you don't mind a little critique. The unedited commentary, paired with the fact there are no time stamps make this a grueling video to learn from. If I were you, I'd take my multiple hours of footage, and chop it up into segments of each encounter, and condense crucial information into these segments. Not only would this result in a video 1/4th as long, but it wouldn't all bleed together. The problem with a unstructured 40 minute video that bleeds together is it requires the person to watch all 40 minutes to have a coherent understanding of something that would take me 10 minutes to explain, in a very neat, viewer friendly way. I understand you're a small creator, and my skillset was also lacking when I was a small creator. It gets better over time. Figured I could help that journey.

RNG is tough 😅😅 you csn get a decent corrupted set from the first tempest quest rewards, best set for ancient only drops from M10 final boss in lazz which is a pain 😛 and the angry earth "harbringer" set is farmable from mobs in the open world, maily MINES and near SIREN

Love the content LiamH. What gems do you recommend for tank armor set(s) in Ennead?

For a normal ennead run? I'd stick with a mixture of Onyx for the physical resistance, Opals for the Elemental and 1 or 2 Ruby's for the fire damage. If its for the mutated versions then which ever resistance gem that reduces the damage of the mutator type :)

The Captains set is Collected from End Boss in Depths Mutation only (higher chance in higher mutations)

I noticed that you used rubies in your ancient warded armor set for the first part. Do you use rubies in your corrupted warded armor set in the middle section? For the last ancient section, rubies still even though most damage seems to be lightning?

For a normal run of ennead you can almost ignore what gems i slotted in armour, they where just the last gems i had slotted from previous fire M10's, although this dungeon does do a fair bit of fire damage eapecially on the boss fights so if you have them spare you can slot them 🙂

Hi Liam nice guide, I was just wondering if you could clarify this question: At 11:14, there is that gold flying block that shoots lasers, what exactly does the gold laser shooting flying block do?

it activates the sentry statues which are very tough, especially when you are in the corrupted area (the statues are always ancient I believe). There may be more to it by my strat is to stay out of the red circle, if you are in the red circle on the floor when the circle encompasses a statue it may (will?) activate, it may require the laser hitting someone. Furthermore I believe the statues can also activate if you are near them with any agro.

Yep just as Lenyo said above, if you walk inside the red circle whilst your near the dormant mobbs attached to the walls it activates them to attack 🙂

good fun game but the pve endgame having x amount of gear sets etc is just exhausting to mee , did this instance first time today and this instance is a nightmare as a melee to do never again lol ranged next time if i do it again , great guide though i subbed :D

hey mate we are at the moment running mutas but in case we have opened all 6 glyphs we dont get a extra chest at the end do you know what we doing wrong at the moment ?(all run like you done in the video) but we dont get a 7 chest at the end

I believe that the glyphs activate chests in regular mode, not mutated. I think the glyphs are not required for mutated, you will always get 6 chests if/when you finish. So you can skip them and save time possibly.

Any gear with the corruption ward and then ancient ward will be a good start, so yes you can buy this from the tp 🙂

There is a decent corrupted ward gear in the tempest quest. Chardis set from mut laz for ancient.

nice guide, but an important info is missing or i just didnt find it. what gs do u need? we wiped mutiple times on the boss with the shield in the arena. and after a while someone asked for my gs. i said 560 and he said, oh thats why we wipe all the time, all though im the tank and never was the first one that died. but i got one shotted from the arrows multiple times.

I've looked and there is no 'official' gs recommendation for most expeditions in NW (if there is I haven't seen where they list it), its not just GS that affects being 'one shot' its also if you have the right ward gear like ancient ward for the final bosses as an example which can nearly reduce damage you take by 25% and if you are in light/med/heavy etc. IMO if you enter at less than say 590ish you need to make sure you are staking as much Ancient Ward on your Armour and elemental damage absorption through gems.

Me personally yes, but only because i have all of the sets, if you dont you will likely be fine so long as your close or above 600gs, just bear in mind full ward gear gives almost 25% less damage 🙂

You can tank with the tempestuous gear from temp. Ran the full set on reg while I was learning(no guides at the time so I figured Id create my own path). With that being said though it realllllly helps to have a solid build that works for you and to stay on top of it for the expedition. Pretty much everything is easy relatively until the last bosses. They can hurt a bit without ward gear,but most definitely doable. I find that leeching and a good deal of fortify are your best friend personally.

@@LiamHYT That's true I also run an off meta build. My build is centered around refreshing move/evasion and leeching. I find elemental aversion just generally helps me because the physical abilities from either range or melee are almost always easy to dodge or block. It's the ranged elemental stuff that gives me nightmares lmao.

what kind of gem do you use on weapons??

depends what role your playing and what part of the dungeon, so the first 3rd are ancient, so you can use any +damage gem or Topaz gem for the lightning damage, for the middle third of the dungeon use any + damage gem or Sapphire for the arcane damage then back to the same as the 1st 3rd for the final third as it goes ANCIENT -> Corrupted -> ancient :) - for tanks use carnelian gems :)

The dual final boss? you need to kill both in the final face within around 10 seconds of each other or he will keep respawning, same goes for HERU, so dps HERU or ANPU down to 1bar then focus on the other boss until 1 health bar left then pull together and DPS both so the die close to each other (time wise)

Gotta disagree with the philosophy of showing uncoordinated new player group runs. I'd really prefer to see how it's supposed to be done optimized vs what I already see any time I jump into a group. There's groups routinely organizing m8+ groups and I can't find any decent guides yet. Seems like the content creators in most other games hold much higher standards for posting content. Before a patch even drops in ESO there are people making guides on PTR for highest difficulty runs.

Each to their own 🙂 personally i don't like posting 'too much' PTR content and it spoils it for when the patch/content is released if you play/give out too much info. Also my thoughts on posting the 'non perfect' rubs works best in 2 ways (imo) i show you how normal runs go so that when you and your group come into some issues and strugle you know what to expect, whilst also giving you the info on how it should be done(and showing this for parts aswell). Sometimes I show off good runs on these guides, sometimes I don't so you get an all round decent mix here. 🙂

Might not be BiS time, but as long as there isn't any wipes then I guess I'm just confused on how this content wouldn't cover what is needed to complete runs at m10?
