Great video! Can you make a video on update ideas and/or bugs you'd like to see fixed? Could ask the community for their ideas as far as that goes as well. I think it could be helpful to the devs before or after the launch if they were to see it, as well as would get alot of discussion going about the game. Keep up the great content Invin!

In order to enjoy the starting content with your friends if you spawn in a different strating zone, simple speak to the NPC ONCE only after the tutorial, get the boots but DO NOT speak to him again. Then travel's to your friends territory and from there you'll be able to enjoy the starting content with your friends.

Thanks! I haven't check Reekwater but I know that Shattered Mountains and Great Cleave both do but their 'settlement' is split into 2 outposts with the crafting stations split between them so will require some running to get there lol!

Hey, thanks for the vid, really good tips. I have a question. I won't be able to go hardcore on this game especially at launch unfortunatelly. How bad is it going to he for casual players? What if someone gets in the game couple of weeks later?

I watch way too many guides for new world :D and what I have learned is, that starting a bit later won't be a huge deal! Yes you might lose the option of being the first crafter for lower level gold, however crafting and everything is pretty much timegated. That means everyone has a timer on crafting important ingredients later on. This means if you come in later, you can still contribute in a great way like everyone else who started before you. If you are not too much branded towards one faction, then it might even be beneficial to chose a bit later, when you see which color the map has.

You will be fine mate, the initial push is honestly for contents sake for me and there is ALOT of timegated things in NW and alot of content for end game so you wont be out of place!

Moneymakers will settle somewhere. Due to the cap on how many resources you can craft a day, and how most of those resources will be wasted attempting to create a perfect armour item, the prices will be solid for years longer than most MMOs where the prices just drop after a month and stay incredibly low. But hey, the point about the rush is that moneymaking will be great early so you can keep the money for later when the prices get lower on things. The moneymakers will still be fair for the time they are done in. People are probably still going to be making new accounts months from now because of the cap on crafted items, so they're still going to need tools, bags etc. all of the shenanigans.

Important correction: the main quest until fishermans bend is 1 hour at the minimum. For most players it takes 1,5 hours.

That depends on your speed mate, I manage to do it in around 45 mins just strain main questing can probably be quicker if you group of spawn with luck!

to be honest, I was going to take it slow and enjoy as I am always flagged for pvp. However with the new scaling and how insane a couple of levels are in pvp... Would rather power level to 60 and then do anything.

Hey Invin and community :) Would be cool if you can help me with this question: I want to play with my friends and we decided to run to the same starting area. However if this is only an hour or so and then we can quest together, this might be fine enough! Does someone know exactly from when on we can quest together? Yeah doing the starting quests, even if its your first play through will be 2 hours max then you will all get sent to the fisherman for the main quest so I suggest you wait for one another to reach that point and go together from there!

am i going to try to get harvesting to 30 as quickly as possible and try to sell some rivercress root at a high-ish price to the people who need it for that one story quest but are too lazy to grind it themselves unless someone screw me over by posting low price ones? absolutely

People are totally going to screw you over by undercutting. Constantly. It's inevitable. The trick is to know when to cancel and when to just leave it and make more money by doing something else. Variety until you hit that motherlode is the key to making money. Not to mention, if someone undercuts you by a lot, someone is going to pick up their items pretty quickly and sell it in another settlement, so your rivercrest is probably going to be fine just sitting there.

@@freshairkaboom8171 i mean it really depends on how many people actually go for lv 30 harvesting super early, how many lazy people there are, and just how populated the server is in general. in the previous beta i was on a slightly dead eu server and made a killing off of mostly cress roots. so long as i don't list them for 17 days and get screwed on tp fees and don't post my entire inventory of roots all at once in case of undercutting it shouldn't be too much of an issue. could definitely see it working for at least the first day since a lot of people will probably be more focused on doing quests to level their characters than harvesting

@@Invin Don't let the haters get you xD Making videos is hard work. However, for guides especially, it's very helpful to have visual cues. Not everyone learns very well just by listening, and seeing as we can't practise what you teach, those are our only options at the moment.
