This raid is ALL ABOUT MECHANICS, once you understand that, it is then just "rinse and repeat" and communication with your team when the unexpected happens. Plenty of videos on mechanics available. (so many people just jump in on a raid and dont know anything, and not even carrying any pots, Guaranteed 4 hours of repeated failure, WATCH THE VIDEOS) Im lucky to have a team, we do the raid each week, ( we have it down to 2 times 1st boss, 1 time 2nd boss, 2 times 3rd boss) hopefully we get it first time every time soon. No point in doing more than once a week as the only drop you get afterwards is 2 gorgon eyes at 3rd boss. Rapier builds do a lot of in close DPS and good for Ads, crystal spikes etc (which ALWAYS need to be cleared FIRST and FAST), when they appear just leave the tank to keep the boss busy and clear everything. We use 2 healers, one for the tank only and one for everyone else. The rending hatchet just complements the team and every team should have one. (rending spear as secondary weapon, throw ability and use it at every start and then now and again when you have the back of the boss and head shot for max cooldown). I would rather learn the raid the first time by doing it than watching someone else do it. Most the fun of a game is experiencing things for the first time.

I have a similar build I finished the raid 3 times with, go SIN, Spear and full rending throw perks. Using gear with health and enchanted ward. Upgrade as new gear drops. currently at GS 721 now. Was using featherweight for more HP but will try light build using attuned leather pants for raid at tuesday reset. Remember to use angry earth potions.

@@Linkus95 Yes. but I now use an upgraded 725 scorpion sting spear with a 725 hoplight hatchet. so I can have 350 strength, 250 dex. Once I get a 725 hoplight spear, may move back to SIN for the 20% buff on both weapons. Go with the flow as new gear drops lol.

I was super on the fence whether I wanted to lean into spear or hatchet mainly. I enjoy them both but I now have my answer 😂 hatchet gang! 🪓🪓

I used to use a spear at first too. But the hatchet is great for ranged attacks.☺

Hatchet throw is so usless .... bro you have a meele weappon so play as meele . Your dmg is lower then a bow

I wish I could play in a group like this. The boss isn't that hard but my team is wiping all the time. I just don't get it. I killed the first boss only once by now.
