Turin, about those Greenskins bypassing your fort: in my experience, if you have a general garrisoned at the Fort (no troops needed, just him) the Greenskins can’t or won’t use the underway. So the Fort is much more of a barrier.

they can use it, but if they do they can be intercepted by the lord and since the garrison will help him they would be in huge trouble edit: since there is no retreat from an intercept battle*

@@udozocklein6023 I thought that too, and it might be. But I’ve had a single lord sat in a T2 fort and it has deterred late game 20 stacks from crossing. I think it might be a weird glitch thing.

Goodness me you got an east AI run in this early game. The multiple times I've played this, Stirland, Averland, Ostermark and sometimes Talabecland get McFucked with a steel chair by about turn 8 when the Vamps have a military alliance, leaving you with -12 Imperial Authority. This seems breezy, like a Festag morn!

I know some of it is due to Gelt, but baseline Empire Knights having 120 armor is just too much. That means they are going to run over Bretonnian cav. Which is just dirty.

Not sure if you know but you can "attack ground" with artillery by holding alt then right clicking. Far more useful for bombarding a front line in combat with yours without harming your own.

Pretty sure all those walls are just money and PO wasted. They're not doing anything at all when nothing is coming at them, and when there is an attacking force, its way too strong for just a lonely t3 garrison to handle anyway (at least, in my experience). On top of that, you were building walls in what was to become your empire's heartland, rather than its troubled fringes. So, yeah. Still, I've learned a few things from this vid - notably, proper fort defence technique. Was watching all of those multiplayer vids, but was looking for a fresh campaign too, ever since I started running them myself. Keep it up my bro.
