I made a new character exactly a week ago and im 625 gs now. 3 days with 60 gen runs, world tours, farming every gypsum except the opr ones. Made all infused orbs (must buy mats from trading post for this.) And a little tip is that you can run only M1 dungeons at around 575-580 gear score minimum. And its gives pretty good expertise. bumps.

Only been doing chest runs, daily free gypsum. But a lot of gathering armoursmith 197, 200 smelting. 605gs but hatchet at 625 is useful .Just started furniture lvl 55 lol. Easily do the 20 odd chest run per hour in Brimstone solo now. But you don't want to do this all day. 480 hours up.

The problem is on my server it's dead so painfull because chestruns still happends but very hard to get into a dungeon. So what of options can I do more as a 60. Btw what is the best way to get decent pvp gear cause now i'm getting killed in 2sec I don't have a big money pit so :(

Arena on my server is incredibly toxic, to the point that people no longer play it, with match waiting times pointlessly long. There's a hard core group of PVP players for OPR and wars but the tools in game to actually try and coordinate companies and members is so lacking in a modern day mmo it's shocking. Having a background in Eve-Online which has always been corp based, it staggers me that systems over 18 years old aren't in place. That said the game is still fun, but dwindling in attendance fast. And thank you for content.

hey man i love your videos but i have an honest question I have spent a lot of time gathering and crafting and feel like i shouldn't have and it was a waste of time i have engineering to 200 and dont use it all gatherings are maxed out and wep smith arcana and jewl at in the late 100s should i just be selling my gathering resources instead of trying to craft things to make money ive invested alot of time leveling them and like i said i just feels pointless i dont have all the trophies and gear etc because i m always broke so just looking for some honest advice on what to do

Amazon added a new way to farm Gypsum Orbs. There are new "ore" nodes in Brimstone Sands guarded by 5 dogs, Those nods looks like Shiny Crystals. After killing the dogs you can mine the node and get 1 Gypsum Orb.

@@5HeadSurvivalGaming thanks for your reply. I did a bit of research after posting comment here. For marauder, gc (eastburn) is still good place for PVP track xp farming. For syndicate, reekwater is good. For covenant, restless shore is good.

Hey, just sayin you do not have to finish the main story to unlock the quest for your sunscreen. My guess is hitting 60 unlocks it as I only play solo. I skipped every expedition, and now that the final quest is an expedition, I skipped that as well, and my staff isn't fully upgraded. Was 575 ish gearscore before I took a break to play other games with friends.

But in order to unlock the glyphs in brim you will need the staff

@5 Head Survival Gaming what glyphs? I genuinely don't know what those are. I know there are doors and chests you need the staff to unlock when doing a WT but I've never had an issue as everyone has the upgraded staff, I just run with the group and chill

I am taking my time to discover what I really like in the game. I started mutations using the event set this week, and it is pretty cool but not that much thrilling. I've tried a couple of Arenas, and it was a fantastic experience. Looking forward to building an entire PVP set. Wars and Outpost Rush should be fun, but since I don't have too much time to interact and spend, I will try those later.

I would save it and focus heavily on farming atm, you can turn over 10k coin a day without even really trying farming tier 1 mats

As a returning player to New World I hit 60 and then completed the BSS MSQ. I then spent about a 2-3 weeks being rejected to even do normal dungeons as my gear score wasn’t at least 580….. I then got an invite to do Genesis and it was a cake walk!! I then spent about a month unable to get another group due to gear score again. The community is so bloody toxic and quite clearly not very good players if they NEED GS 580 to complete normal content! I did chat with a few players that seemed really nice whilst questing etc but they all quit because of the same issues. I think the community do far more to destroy the game than AGS do to be honest. It’s a great game as it is but, the under achieving elitists are killing the game in my opinion. I think that the community have to appear rude and toxic to appear good when in truth the toxic players are some of the poorest players in games these days. They struggle to clear content, and they don’t have the ability to believe others may be better than they are so, they expect newer players to over gear content.😢

best think you can do is pretty much leave what waits you is repetitive tasks that will reward you with a tiny bit of dopamine here and there you will burn HOURS AND HOURS that you could use to better yourself or better relationships or sports and in the end there will be a dup or massive exploit and all your grind was worthless it was a blast until 600 , im pretty much 625 full warded , 50% bis pvp build i regret investing in the game

Great guide! I'm following your furnishing guide atm. I've been buying $nail $lime off the market. It drops so slowly when I'm fishing but my fishing skill is low. Will it drop more frequently at higher fishing levels? Or is making coin to buy slime from the market the way to go? Thanks

Best place I have found is fishing in brimstone, you catch snails but also sturgeon, and the high value of roe will buy a ton of slime when you catch it

Although this video makes it seem like there is a lot to do, there really isnt. In my opinion there is two core activities, OPR/3v3 or repeating Expeditions (Mutations). If your not into Expeditions it just leaves OPR/3v3. OPR is in probably the worst state its ever been in and most of the time isnt enjoyable with most players using musket/bow. Without a core activity to do in the game you will find that there isnt any point in doing the other side activities.

You missed the most important tip. They need to afk forts, so I don't have to. Also, I have been in multiple arena games were a guy on my team did zero damage and wasn't a healer. I have had games where my healer would do 5k total healing for 4 rounds and just die. Running in with pve gear and getting 2 shot by a bow is not a positive experience. Dragging the whole team down and letting them get shit talked by losing is probably going to get you flamed. Losing a 3v1 will also turn toxic. 3v3 are definitely not casual friendly.

I have 600+ solo wins in 3v3s, and I would beat that guy consistently too. Lots of odd things happened with that many matches.
