I think the relaunch is going to be good for the game, many other games have done similar, FFXIV failed at launch but they came back and turned into a top 3 MMO. There are legit good updates with Aeternum, such as cross-server matchmaking for arena & bg, crossplay to keep servers populated, and more raids & open world pvp zone. W imo, I’ll be playing it.

New World Beta is embarrassing.. and the game is SO dead after many bad decisions from it's Developers and literally not having enough content in MANY years, the whole game is one huge meme. Also console doesn’t exactly have many options when it comes to MMOs so you’ll jump on anything you can get. But saying that everyone enjoyed the beta is pure cap, because I know plenty who hate the target lock features being added to PVP. The fact that anyone thought that made sense should raise concerns but your in the honeymoon phase right now, enjoy it while it lasts. Once the game officially releases you’ve got about 300-600 hours of content before you realize the game isn’t what you expected. And the devs are just using console as a last minute cash grab, you can expect severely less content added in the future And you end up in the same place as most of the millions of people who played the game before you… bored and looking for something else. Enjoy 😉

The solo experience, aim assist which is basically full blown target lock, GS went up by 25 and they added a 10 man raid. The core game is literally the same, same content, same progression. Endgame is lacking HEAVILY and most players will stop playing because of it. When your server dies you’ll have to pay real money to swap to a more popular server. Gold sellers don’t get banned and the company will not add enough content to keep players engaged. The games been out for 3 years and is going into a 2nd release…

When new world first launched it was great. 40 v 40 company wars were fun as f. getting a faction Zerg group to spam faction quest to go to war was fun. Crouching / going prone in bushes or tall grass actually made your character stealthy in a realistic way, if you found a good spot to hide and other players who wanted to pk you couldn’t find you you’d usually escape. Like I said fresh new world was great but it died off hard for most people that were playing with me

The end game grind was ass. Apparently chasing gear score now a days is better I’ve heard. I haven’t gotten back into the game even with that new dlc area they added. The game had a lot of potential but they’re three years in now..

@@aaronclay4665 Dawntrail is literal Yawntrail tho sadly.. i have played FFXIV for 3 years.. now noticed i just keep logging and playing GW2 more and more since latest FFXIV update has been just boring. Hope their next one is back on track, Shadowbringers and Endwalker were solid. GW2 been fun, even its old game and all, but it has something very special going for it and pvp and wvw mode on it are very fun. =)

My understanding is that you can only play the game if you own New World AND one of the DLC's. Therefore, you must pay if you don't have the DLC. NUTS cash grab. Was a good chance to try to get some players back but... "We need to get most of the players who already paid $60 again. Any ideas guys?"

i have 5k hrs in 3 chrs in NW and i did enjoyed NW. That being said i played the beta from 0-30, lvled 5 weapons to lvl 13. and 3 levels of faction The WOW war withing leveling make me fall sleep every 1 hrs, in NW i did enjoyed the lvling even that i was my 4 time doing it.

To be honest i never heard of this game intill now i dont play enough on steam or pc that much but i paid for that game on steam couldn't download it or play it because how big the game is but i played the beta that what made me want to try it on steam on pc but i wasted 30 dollars on it but glad its coming to xbox and Playstation so i can atleast play it for the first time and enjoy the game like i did in the beta

Just make a offline mode an more people would try it. I swear that i think most MMORPGs would perfectly works as a solo offline game. I mean WoW Classic works well beside dungeons and there a bot addons that just spawns bots to play as a group. But even Games like Conan Exile is pure fun as a solo Player, played houndreds of hours on ps4 solo before ever going online.
