New World on Steam Deck | Windows 10 | Benchmark

I learned that If you log out of the game while in a "big" city, that you could not log back into the game. You would get the log in loadscreen before the game just crashed. appartently the steam deck could not manage to load the game in cities. I have recently installed windows 11 on my deck. Do you know if it works in windows? have you ever experiansed this crash?

I was always in the city when I logged in. Never experienced a crash.

@@WilliSilicon Huh, did you also try back when you was on steamOS? atleast for me i crashed every single time i tried to log in, in a city. I'm downloading it now soo hope it'll work for me aswell

New World never crashed either way. Maybe it's because I upgraded the SSD before anything else. Are you running the game from micro SD?

@@WilliSilicon I think i did in the past (steamOS) as i had the 64gb version. Now i have a 1tb ssd + sd card (windows11). I am currently downloading it to the ssd

How did you setup your controls?

I just set them up in game. It wasn't the greatest though.

@@WilliSilicon so secondary question, what settings do you use? My roads won’t load 😂😂 I get a min spec error every time I load but the game still runs Atleast

I get an error on load that says “does not meet minimum specs…”

@@justnorml9081 that can actually be fixed in bios if you google the issue the answer can be found, ive lost the article or i could provide it
