For anyone who is here in 2024, just letting you all know that this mostly works with laptops that are connected to a lan cable from the WiFi. If you try this with a wireless internet, you’re not gonna get the same options in the advance tab that he has.

I could not be more grateful!!! It's been a couple of painful weeks with crappy download speed. Even the internet provider technician came and checked everything and installed a new modem. Only until then I realized that only my laptop was having issues an none of the other many devices,.. Since yesterday I've been trying everything and today I was about to give up. honestly speaking,, after 1 year of upload, this still works... the one trick that worked the most was the DNS assignment. Went from 1.5 MB/s to 11.0 MB/s, now the games I used to download in 8 hours are being downloaded in 1hr 30 mins. THANKS A LOT

My dude, my phone had a better connection for a long time than my pc had. It didn't bother me much till last night where my games were super unplayable with all these ping spikes. I noticed how I only went further down to get a shittier connection to the point my phone had acces over 200+ mbps, and my pc only 18. I followed the steps exactly and it actually made a huge difference. My wifi speed went from 3mbps to around 25-30mbps (I have a 30mbps connection). But one thing is that I dont get full range at my desk so the speed drops down but when my laptop is close enough to the router I can enjoy the full speed. Thanks 👍

Hi! For anyone that needs better WiFi, this is great but try to play around with the settings he changes in the 'Configure' tab, different modems/routers work better with different settings c:. Try not to do a internet speed test while in the tab though, it can break things sometimes, and some settings combinations won't work at all, but I haven't seen any problems with it after you do get the right settings! The settings adjustment's worked before the changes 5 up and 15 down after the changes 7 up but 35/40 down serious improvement for sure seriously thanks for the tutorial. Like and a new sub indeed. {This video work's because you showed the steps for the changes but also explained all the setting's meaning and explanation of the setting changes you are making through the different parts of each settings steps along the whole video but only as much is required and not to much more and a final recap of all the steps at the end was the best way to end this tutorial video for sure}.

Bro, that video was amazing; it helped a lot! I was downloading Game of Thrones in a batch of full episodes in one RAR file, which is around 8GB. Initially, it was showing that it would take 19 hours to download, and the progress wasn't even moving. But after applying your settings, it's now showing just 1 hour, and the download is progressing quickly.
