I remember getting the V-Cube in the mail. It was $80 usd and I ordered it very early and I think it was from Greece. The only 7x7 in the world for years. Probably got it in 2008 or 9. And so much popping and trying to lube it. Then a piece broke and it was a bad time. I was obsessed. Going from the Rubiks brand 4and 5s to finally getting larger cubes that worked well, at least at the time. I remember how excited I was when the 7x7 came in the mail. Pillowed and beautiful. It’s crazy how far cubing has come.
