Mollie split a 28.11 in the last 50, its insane for a woman in the last 50 of a 200 free. Titmus split to fast at 100 meters and paid this split at the end. She didn't give a chance to molly, she give all of her energy, in fact she improved her personal best.

Today they are lighter and have much improved flow through the water. Even after the super suits were banned in 2009, swimsuit technology is so far improved on what it was in the 1970s. And as for your ignorant generalisation that just because the women’s 200 free WR is almost equal to what the men’s was in 1972, here’s a fact for you. The women’s 200 free WR is 10.7 seconds faster than it was in 1972. The men’s 200 free WR is 10.8 seconds faster than it was in 1972. It doesn’t support your ignorant and evidence free allegation that the women have improved much more than the men, does it?
