@@jacquelinerussell8530 I have also been watching the Olympics for over half a century and some gold medals are nailed on. The 400IM isn't an event in which champions come from nowhere because of the skillset required to compete and McIntosh is a long way ahead of any competitors.

There's no one this fast EVER (in this event), not just this year... she won the Olympic Gold by nearly 6 secs over 2nd place, which in swimming is like winning a hockey game 10+ to 0 or for my Murican friends... winning a football game 42-6.
