Im only half Filipino, but growing up in Australia sometimes being treated like an outsider has given me the 'us vs them' mentality. Therefore I have always supported athletes from China, Japan and other Asian nations during international sporting events. Even going as far as supporting India and Pakistan in cricket, and also supporting the Japanese soccer team in world cups.
