hi @5HeadSurvivalGaming, please read this comment. First of all, I'm a big fan of your work with all these detailed and straight-to-the-point videos. YTube is full of clickbait, long, boring, repetitive, and copied content. And your channel is result of great effort and attention, thank you for this. I have a suggestion, that I believe that would be amazing for your followers and also for new viwers as well. New World is often changing with new patches, new seasons, new skins for twitch drops or store, etc, it would be great to have a once-a-week summary of 'What's new and going on New World'. A video that you could do on a weekly-basis, that would summarize not only New World news, but also refer to your other New World videos. There are lots of players that, like me, are quite done with current content, and are taking a break from New World, but are willing to comeback for a twitch drop skin, or a special seasonal event, or even just want to follow-up how's the game doing. Even if there's nothing quite new, it is nice to have a channel that keeps this 'news' format, so we can follow. Once again, thank you and congrats for the great content

Sickkkk more stuff that only 1-10% of a server will get to experience because they haven't realized the main draw of the game (wars) is only using a smallllllllllllll percentage of each server player base and those players just float around and use alts to make the number actually smaller. I cannot comprehend why we have not seen a single pvp mode that gives players a similar to war environment with gameplay that will allow people to gain experience and try out for war slots properly.

I don’t see why they should restrict the access when, through this way, it gives the pvp’r another means of income by selling what they craft. I like that idea because it brings more pvp’rs into the core of the game while not actually forcing them into pve content which I know a handful of people don’t like

Wave 3 of the PTR is focused on the Cross World OPR, so I imagine there might be scheduled / encouraged OPR runs to test out the new server architecture stuff. Maybe that's a way of getting some of these.

@5headsurvivalgaming there is some items on NWDB called Grand overseers and grand dominators which I believe are heavy medium and light sets. They come with the resilient perk locked in and they are bind on pickup. What is your opinion on these and do you think they will be added as currently they say may not be obtainable but they seem very interesting for people wanting to craft there own BIS pvp gear could save some people alot of money.

Interesting... But that RNG needs to be scaled better, something like what Diablo 4 has, where it's still a gamble when you use your Obols, but it's not a massive waste of time and effort and you eventually get a decent drop. In NW, with time gated refining, which is a joke in and of itself along with a lot of other things in this game, the RNG feels criminally exploitive of players. This should have been adjusted months ago.

Yep agreed. Some very simple core things that need to be fixed before adding new stuff into the game, to help bring the game out of niche status. I think Scot Lane, needs to go. His direction is here, players complaints and suggestions are there. He never meets in the middle. Same mistake he pulled when the game lost 900+K until they made their first video: "We're listening". I don't know if you watched the Blizzard Dev Fireside chat, but did you notice they were talking WITH players vs AT players? Stark difference in quality of product between AGS and Blizzard, based on how much they care about their product and their players.

I've been playing a ton of D4 and I've compared how much better the loot/gear system is to New World as well. Yes, D4 is heavy on the RNG, but it just feels so much fairer and you get to roll the dice a lot more. You're able to get incremental upgrades all the time and BIS isn't a dream that takes years to achieve. It's a joke how much it costs to roll the dice in New World given the extremely low chances of getting an upgrade. I really don't know why AGS insists on making it so difficult. Most players aren't going to grind for weeks for a 3% chance to get an upgrade. AGS has so much room to improve the process of obtaining gear upgrades without making it trivial.

Some good discussion here. I've played this game since Beta, and fervently defended it back in 2021 and 2022. But that leaderboards thing was my last straw. There were issues with the RNG, the gear wall new players have to struggle with in getting to 625, the Territory control being an abhorrent mess, I mean the list goes on and on. And just like back in Sept 21, as they lost a crap ton of players, almost overnight, they had the same mentality. Then they started listening to players, and the game started coming back, especially after the Tempest Heart release up until Brimstone Sands. Then, after a huge boost of success from the Brimstone update, they're back to their old ways, Scot Lane at the helm of it all. If you recall from a recent AGS video, where Scot was talking to the Umbrella guy to hold it in place, they said the Ward and Bane system is not good and they agree. And they've said things like this several times. But the immediate response is, "But it's not in our immediate radar, but somewhere down the line." This is NOT a new complaint. It's festered for a year now, post mutation releases. But the fact that they released Leaderboards after people said NOW IS NOT THE TIME! And the complaints from PTR saying the same person or group can hold the leaderboards in the top 10 easily and push people out of the top 10, was not addressed nor will it be addressed. It's just flub after flub that people don't bother with using the PTR as it was intended. Namely because AGS is not treating it as intended vs a sneak peak preview of what's coming. I'd just about had it with AGS and am not giving them another cent. Worse yet, $1 for a Limited time use firework? If that's not a snub at the players, I don't know what is. Scot needs to go. Playing Diablo 4, or hell, Scam Citizen, I am having more fun playing those games vs New World (meme). A freaking Scam game is more fun than New World. Anyways, I am probably preaching to the choir here, but I think AGS needs to get rid of Scot. Namely because we don't even know what the damn direction and goal of New World is, aside from being a meme.

You missing something in your analysis. Defence WAR PLAYERS are already rich that's why they are in the wars. So your point in "they can make a little coin" is just the short end of the stick. These players get stim checks every war. The 1% of the player base is selling war rng gear to new players so they can transmog to make them "feel" like they were in a war. The entire war system is a joke....

@@5HeadSurvivalGaming I am a patient person (housing is my GOTO activity, and its been broken for 16 months). I was a vanilla wow high warlord then gladiator in wrath of the lich king. Played my share of pvp in warhammer online, swtor, ESO and of course new world. The amount of animation cancelling/macro use on my server is out of control. Once I learned how to spot it, it really turned me off the game. I reported EXTREMELY obvious bots that are in the top 3 leaderboard for fishing. No amount of reporting sexist names, bots or cheaters gets any attention. The bugs I have reported also get no attention. Hope is wonderful, but at some point we have to take a good hard look at the facts and without going through all of it, it comes down to this. New World was a proof of concept for Amazon Games so that they could have a portfolio piece to persuade Ebracer group to contract the Tolkien IP with Amazon for the new LOTR game. I'll take this to my grave. New World is no more a "game" then landmark was a game (it was a player asset creator/accumulator for EQN....oddly, many of the same people work at Amazon Games), and this is why there was massive copy paste, 1 character animation for male/female, no swimming, etc etc. Anyway, thanks for your videos and being realistic in your approach....the hopium stuff gets old from other content creators.

@@propersod2390 Hmm...do you troll me in every thread, stalker much? You know you can get help for that. BTW animation cancelling tied to macros is against the TOS, its literal cheating. Blunderbusses do not shoot off 4 rounds in 1.5 seconds....and yet it happens every encounter in game with specific players like clockwork. That is not skill, that is a macro. I imagine you use them as well, such a staunch defender of cheaters, just like you were on the forums.
