Gargantua and Pantagruel comes to mind first...it's a good idea for a book tube, so I'm going to think about it further...Brossard's wake Up, and his Raging Joys are in there...Catch 22...still much thinking to do...

I haven't read JW (Lorrie Moore just came to mind as a funny writer...). I knew Johnson and found him dispiriting and lazy brained. I liked Angels, but nothing else of his...
