Did they not have any quality control on the art? Scenery looked on point the entire time, but Scott never had the same chin. Emma looked like a blonde Jubilee, needing a sandwich. Loved the costumes, but it's like AI drew all the characters 😂

Oh, I've read this one as a collected volume. From recovefing Ugly John, up to the sentient Sentinel realizing what it had done under Cassandra Nova's control... I believe this was where they found Negasonic Teenage Warhead's name, as well. I didn't actually like the art style, personally, and the "secondary mutation" gimmick seems a bit... idk. I do like the interpersonal confrontations though, and when "Charlse" shot "Cassandra"? Very clever.

I actually disliked this version of the X-Men. I disliked it so much I discontinued my subscription and changed it to Xtreme X-Men. But that one fell off too for me I think a year later.

How are there multiple stories with the same characters at the same time??

@@Ratstail91 their answer is different universes but Xtreme X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, and New X-Men were running concurrently with each other. The main difference is the cast but New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men had the same cast for a few months before Uncanny went with Ice-Man, Nightcrawler, and Wolverine in Europe if I recall. I can't explain it honestly, it just happens in comics.

Story is fantastic but the art work is atrocious. Even when the best of the few artists that worked on this pencil an issue. It looks rough. Good thing the story is interesting.
