Makes no difference. When you use a disk, it still downloads the game via the internet to your console. The CD is just a key.

I love playing digitally on my playstation 5 & xbox series x because I ran out of space on my gaming shelf plus it’s very convenient not worrying about games being sold out in stores. I rather have a disc drive console because a lot of games get delisted digitally so I buy xbox 360 games physically. I like to have both options i’m enjoying xbox 360 forza horizon I got it on amazon for $40 used mint condition no scratches plays brand new which was really surprising side note i’ll never buy an all digital console don’t limit yourself.🥂✌🏾😎

I just got it last week and since day 1 my screen flickers and goes black at least twice a day for a quick second I have tried my son's Xbox series x and his doesn't now should I exchange it for another one or keep it ? I have tried another HDMI and still the same.

Smart one digital means you can download all your games and add an external hard drive to install all the games you want and you can play offline as well

I don't like the fact that I cannot play Blu-Ray movies on this console... But yeah, it seems that the future is that, all digital... Streaming services have absolutely to boost their bitrate and quality in general, and offer the same amount of special content exclusive to Blu-Ray to convince me using only digital media.

Terrible advertisement for the console - acting all digital is amazing by saying people loose discs. Then saying you can’t tell 8k but so excited followers by you don’t need the menu to be 120hz and 60 is fine as you can’t tell . Your more likely to notice that than 8k

All multiplayer online should be free, if microsoft, sony and nintendo are getting a cut from every game sold they shuld maintain the servers for free of charge for the consumers. This would make alot of people switch from pc gaming to consoles which would in turn make them more profit. It would be good on so many levels like = - people not messing up their pcs while building - no unncessery pc upgrades because of newer gpu every year - game devs having a standarised platform to build their games (consoles lifespan are 4-6 years) i also think microsoft, sony and nintendo should specialize in diffrent markets with their hardware, like one could go for t.v console other for VR, and last one for handhelds gaming. Also game devs need to stop coming out with 2nd and 3rd installment of their games and instead update the first game ( like no "dead space 2" but instead just "dead space" and if they need to upgrade visuals/ add more story, include it in an update to the original game whilst still keeping the original game and name of it)
