I come from battlefield 4 if you shoot somebody low and a friendly gets the kill off the player that you was shooting at you will get a assist counts as a kill

That's fine, but does it also give the person who actually killed them a kill? If so it's just bonkers to me that 2 kills are issued out for 1 death

This site is definitely more accurate. I'm sure my stats are stuck, not necessarily because of the K/D, but because the average SR has been the same for a week and counting. It used to move around a bit constantly

Oh they count, but they count as kills for both people that did damage lol

I think what's happening is the kill assists in game count as kills. I think the in game stat and the tracker.gg isn't counting those as kills and the XDLoadout site does

Have you considered at 7:50 that goofy also got a kill assist on the kill that bishop got right before you opened the scoreboard? The way i see it is if you got a majority of the dmg and someone else finishes them off, you both get the kill and no assist is awarded. If you dmg someone only a little bit say 30 dmg and someone else finishes them off you get an dmg assist. Although "majority" may be above 50% like 60 or 70. Unsure to say without testing. I think the tldr would be: Kill assist = both teammates get kill, no assist is awarded \ you did a majority dmg and someone else killed em Dmg assist = One gets assist and other gets kill \ you did minority dmg and someone else killed em Edit: cool video tho i do like figuring out how this stuff works...

I hadn't considered that, good catch though. I still don't think both people should get a kill for 1 person being killed makes no sense to me.

I've been consistently getting 2-4kd per match and my kd is still at 1.0

I'll clear this up for everyone the K/D in game is a career K/D based upon EVERY match you've played therefore it wont update after even 10 matches most times

This is fine and most people get that but for a lot of people, me included, it just never moves at all. Like not even by .1 even tho I'm doing a lot better now then when I started out. THe % below the actual K/D stat ingame also doesn't move it's just permanently stuck at -8% Edit: Just tried the stats shown on XDLoadout and what do you know now the K/D is above 1 which makes a lot more sense

Your looking incorrectly then. Look up Nyteefall on xbox. Win rate is 100% but that's the account I used for this test and I left about 5 or 6 games on that account
