@@juhnarmerino5399 nothing to worry about except of course of the language barrier, you can actually go outside of your hotel just in case gusto mo magexplore or kumain sa labas but bring cash... Cashless na mostly ang mode of payment sa China (wechat or alipay) but some shops still accept cash.

@@juhnarmerino5399 and one more thing, once you entered China, all google services and apps are blocked like fb, yt, messenger, etc not unless naka vpn ka or roaming ung sim u sa pinas para magamit ..

Most establishments are closed at around 9-10pm.. im afraid there's really nothing to see at that time..

Hello! are you a Philippine passport holder too? Do I need to apply a certain visa for my 19-hrs layover in Xiamen (via Xiamen Airlines) to go out of the city? or I can only stay within the vicinity of the transit hotel?

Im a Philippine passport holder too and there's no need for any visa for a layover... You can freely explore around the hotel, streets, restaurants, etc... but not quite sure if you intend to go outside Xiamen..

Hallo! This video is so much helping! I'll have a flight to Osaka and gotta transit in Xiamen for 8hours so I guess I can avail the free hotel voucher too right? And one thing I need to confirm, for this free hotel thing, we don't need to do anything before flight (from our country) right? No hotel booking or anything, simply do things as you did right when we arrive at the transit airport, right?

That's right, actually my roommate that time has a connecting flight to Japan too. No need to book or something. Just simply go directly to their transit hotel desk and the staff will take care of it...

Yes after immigration you pick up your luggage. Go through customs. And go downstairs to the desk. There they provide the free vouchers. Get cash money. Step outside in line for the taxi. It all runs smoothly

hai can i ask you about the taxi service.. it was really hard to get a taxi back to the airport at around the time you experienced before? I will also be going to Tokyo through Xiamen...

Simply ask the staff of the hotel to help you take a taxi... It's a bit difficult to get one especially that it was around 3am and there were less taxi that time... I waited for about 15 minutes

Yes hotel staff will help. Their English is as minimal as our Mandarin 😊 but they use their private cell phones with translation app . Just get some cash out of the ATM or exchange to pay for the taxi ride. It is all safe, convenient.

How did you pay for the taxi? Can you pay with a credit card? And how much was it?

@@kreest3565 i paid it in cash... It's about 20rmb depending on your hotel...
