New Yamaha XSR900 2022 | Akrapovic Exhaust | Soundcheck | EURO 5 - 95 dB

Check out this beautiful new Akrapovic Exhaust on the new Yamaha XSR900. The oval shape makes it look more classic while perfectly fitting the style of the bike. The sound is not so much different from the original exhaust but the finishing and the look make it really an interesting option if you can afford it.
Other than the MT-09 and TRACER 9, the new XSR900 is Tyrol friendly with 95 dB(a).

Please excuse the sound quality. But you cannot do much more with a GoPro Hero 7.

@@Bugside exactly, you pay for the looks. But to be honest, there are better sounding and looking options for less. Akras have a good name to them, but EURO 5 killed it imo

You need to ride the bike to actually judge the sound. No matter if with stock exhaust or Akra, it sounds great when ridden. Much gruntier than the old model actually.

@@DukeontheThames It's mostly the looks but also the weight. Regulations will get even stricter in the future. The EU5 bikes still sound great. The CP3 has a good presence when ridden IMO.

It's because it's the euro 5 one designed for xsr. Even with baffle out it's quite tame. I couldn't find carbon race version for the bike so I got something else and was grinning. People rave on about the stock with the intake noise etc but get something loud it makes the bike sound glorious 😎

There is, but you have to drill where it's soldered and then work to get it out.

Ist halt OEM Zubehör, dass muss alle Regulationen erfüllen ohne Wenn und Aber. Wenn du z. B. mit einem Spark oder Zard oder so in eine Kontrolle kommst in der Schweiz, ist nicht gesagt, dass ein nett gemeintes Beiblatt reicht, um wirklich durch die Kontrolle zu kommen. Das Problem hast du mit dem Akra nicht. Der CP3 muss man eigentlich auch in Fahrt hören, damit man den Sound beurteilen kann. Bessere Videos folgen.

That's the same aftermarket Fender of the old XSR900 from SW Motech. The Frontfork, Brakes and Wheels are also the same stock parts.

Not legal without a cat 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s loud enough as it is and has nice power delivery. In middle Europe (especially DACH region) it’s smarter to not overdo it with noise, if we want to keep riding…
