New Yanmar 235 Tractor Delivery

I have been searching for almost a year trying to decide which tractor would be the best fit for our market garden and our organic vegetables here on the homestead. Finally, I chose the Yanmar 235 tractor after test driving probably 20+ tractors of different sizes, brands and models. Can wait to put this horse to work. Purchased from PR Equipment in Kerens, Tx. It's a big investment for Savvy Organics Farm but I truly believe it will save me hours of back-breaking work.

@@SavvyOrganicsFarm I’d say that’s one of my only complaints as well. Just had my rear tires fluid filled and that helps tremendously.

H Phillips - Good question. I chose the Yanmar because the warranty was better, the lift capacity was higher and the PTO has a bit more power.

@@SavvyOrganicsFarm Yanmar seems to have better build quality than most at a very competitive price. Looking at buying another tractor and this is top of the list so far..

@@In2investing I would agree that they are well-engineered tractors. If my research is correct, other brands of tractors use a lot of Yanmar parts. Great tractor, just be sure that wherever you buy one has a great service department and a good reputation.

great job.. pointed out a lot of frequently overlooked features, I was totally impressed with the color coded levers. I am concerned about the recommendation to remove the PTO shields, especially for those not aware of the dangers of farm equipment.
