Hi Jen 🌈. That yarn is so pretty. Right away I thought of making a garland for the tree, etc. the sequins would pick up the light so nicely.. 🎄🎄🌟 .. I’m planning on making the Festive Flowers Tree Skirt I found on Premier.. but I’m going to make it in blues and white for my daughter... her husband is Dutch and he likes blue. Christmas is such an awesome season to celebrate. I am planning on getting my Christmas yarns out this week. I keep it in a box, together with all my previous ornaments, etc. that I made, as I don't have enough space here in our apartment. Jen, maybe you can teach us to crochet some new ornaments this year??

Wow, not even enough to make a bunny from. Is there enough for a hat even? The sparkles are beautiful but... How funny, I bought Issac yarn at Michael's a few years ago. I bought the cotton, most all of what they had on a clearance end cap. 😂 I want to address your statement , "I did that". Sometimes get the urge to write. That sequin yarn would be beautiful just chained and used as a garland!! I love the big twist you got and the hockey pucks...sparkles...always a good thing!! When I had my old house and was raising my kids,,,we had some kind of Christmas tree in every room starting on Thanksgiving....the kids decorated their own...there were 6-12 inch trees in every bathroom and a 3 ft in the kitchen on the breakfast bar...oh, how I miss that! For the yarn with the big sequins I would just make sure that the hook diameter is at least as large as the width of the sequins.

I love Christmas music 🎶 🎵. I listen to it all year long. However, I wish they would play the winter songs all through the winter. They have wrongfully been clumped into Christmas yet they have nothing to do with Christmas. I get yelled at for singing Frosty the Snowman in January. It's not a Christmas song it's a winter song. There are a lot of songs like that. I find it irritating that people don't know the difference. Guess it's a me thing. I hope everyone has a great day and God bless. Jan

When I had to go to dialysis they celebrated every holiday with a Christmas tree decorated for that season. Example Valentine's day was red and heart everything valentine.

We are not doing the same for as we usually do here either. It's been alot this year....2 surgeries, sickness and alot of missed time out of work. Hi Jen, have you ever crocheted garland for your Christmas tree? I made loads of it. Of course the way I did it was crocheted around a string of beads using crochet thread. There are several patterns of garland though. Just a thought. Love the yarns you got! I love Christmas yarns!

My brain works exactly the same when trying to read a crochet pattern. I just cannot do it. I know the abbreviations , I understand (mostly) what each line says but for some reason, when its all strewn together I lose it.....I cannot process it. I cannot stay on one line at a time. Send help!
