I also don't like to make granny squares with the granny square yarn, I like to make C2C blankets with it. They turn out soooo good.

I tried twice to place an online order in the past 24 hours. Both times Joann simply canceled the order. The items still all show as in stock. "Customer Care" is so far not helping. I have never had this problem before, but certain KZbinrs have mentioned it. How to get an order placed? Luck? It's super frustrating. 😠

I haven't tried the granny yarn because of all the mixed reviews with it but as many squares I make I should try it to see if it will work for me!

Thanks for sharing this #vlog "YES" the #grannysquare yarns have new colors. I just purchased a few skeins because Crystal has a beautiful #crochetblanket on her #bagodaycrochet page made from those challenging granny squares yarns. I officially bought the two sets of prym ergonomic hooks for myself. I have crocheted my whole life but I have been consistent for the past two years and my wonderful husband bought them for me for my birthday a couple days ago! He says I deserve good tools if I'm going to stick with it ❤❤

Thank you Ginger! I like the granny square yarn but only as a variegated . It hurts my head trying to make the granny square come out right because it’s not the way I make them. But it’s pretty!

Yes, there are new RH granny square yarn color ways. I haven't tried that granny square yarn yet but I just placed an order with Joanns and Yarnspiration to try some out as well as the new Caron colorama halo, Caron haze cakes and Caron colorama halo stripes yarn and red heart super saver bitty stripes.

Thanks for the super fun shopping trip! I like seeing the yarns and colors and prices. These walk through give a much better view of what the yarns look like. I don't know why websites can't give multiple views of what shoppers will want. The colors are dreadful on a lot of the web pages and I can't tell what the actual yarn looks like till I see someone on KZbin show it! All this modern tech and they don't use it.

Hello and TY always for your videos. I love them and adore you. I always put you on when I am quietly crocheting. Please, please would you create a tutorial for making Pom poms with the Clover Pom Pom maker. At 65 years young I am a fairly new crocheter (less than two years). I started after retirement. I watch many Pom Pom videos but mine always come apart. TY for all you do for the crocheting community. PS. Your new yarn studio is lovely!

Great tour! I love the big twist value yarns for everyday use! They really do have a great selection of colors!! You're absolutely right about the clover pom pom makers! I had serious issues trying to make pom poms before I discovered the clover brand style of pom pom makers!

I bought some of the small skeins of big twist yarn. It's not soft. It doesn't work up nice. I'm returning it.

All in one granny is a gimmick. I tried multiple times, and never got more than 3 rows to work. I gave it to my mom, she spent 2 hours perfecting 1 square, then frogged it and made a very pretty ripple afghan. I know some people can use it, but most of us just end up using it like variegated yarn. Nice color palette though.

Hello there Geek! LOL I love watching your videos, your Mama need any help with all that yarn? You? Anyway....I received an email about 2 weeks ago from Red Heart that they were coming out with 6 new colors for the granny square yarn. My Joann's has it, but I don't use Red Heart much anymore.

Hi Ginger, nice seeing you and thx for the stroll thru Joann. I love Prym hooks also, I bought my first set at Joann’s when they first came on the market and they were $19.99 each set and I got both. I also got two more sets at Amazon, the smaller ones were $14.99, the bigger ones $18.99. I think the prices on Amazon are different depending on the sellers. I bought my clovers from Michaels with my rewards so they cost me absolutely nothing. Take care.
