Ginger, Joann is bring out a Big Twist line of knit and crochet accessories. They’ve got hook sets, single hooks, knitting needles, stitch markers for both and much more. It would be great to get the word out for that like you did here for Michael’s.

The Cloud Cakes are my favorite. The new Perfect Phasing is incredible. Im halfway through a knit, top down sweater using 2 strands held together because it knits up faster and cushier that way. The phasing is incredible. Started with the light color at the top, and its a perfect gradient which will end in the darker colors at the bottom ribbing. For the sleeves I will use the remains of each skein one per sleeve, and do the doubling up using the center strand and the outer strand. That should give a nice gradient marl. It will be the darker colors from underarm to cuff, a nice contrast to the gradient of the body. They should match really well for identical sleeves. I could do the sleeves in the gradient to match the body, but that would require 4 more skeins of yarn and it really isnt the effect Im going for. Im not opposed to buying more of this luscious yarn though. Lol. Working with this yarn is pure comfort. My hands love the soft cushiness. 2 cakes is plenty for the adult medium sweater Im making. It is so so so soft and cushy and squishy and fluffy worked up. Love it.

Love your videos! Is yarn always so expensive in the US? I´m from Germany. We have some of the yarns you showed today. The one with the pompom is about 1.50 - 2€... chenille yarn 300 grams/200 meters is 3.99€ full price... 100% acrylic 100 g/ 238 m is 1.14€. There are also a lot of more expensive yarns but these are usually special yarns like alpaca, merino, sheep´s wool etc or handmade or hand-dyed. Our prices are almost always way lower than the prices you have.

Same! I always wait until they go on sale or clearance. Every once in awhile Michael’s will have a 50% off coupon, so then it’s more affordable. 😊

That Woolease Air looks pretty and super interesting but I wonder how or if it will frog, and will it get tangly during knitting and crochet, or does it have some slip to it? The swatch they have does look beautiful so I really want to try it. It reminds me of the Bernat Plentiful from a few years ago.
